Can’t single out any one player for this mess - but for a bloke talked up as a Brownlow contender pre-season, Chad has been an utter non-event.

Not Horses fault the players are missing easy kicks on goal.

Bigger problem is that we’re getting monstered in midfield and ruck… again. We’re an incredibly soft side this year. We have some silky players and can win when we’re kicking perfectly. Otherwise, we’re by far the easiest team in the 8 to play against.

If we’re honest, we really don’t deserve to be here. We’ve been very poor for far too long this season.

Biggest issue on our list. Need a ruckman, too, but midfield is overpowered far too often for a team that has premiership aspirations.

Melbourne game was incredible. Probably the best we've played in a final since 2012/2014.

But let's not kid ourselves...we were lucky to hold on against Collingwood.

We outplayed them for 3 quarters...sure last quarter was bad but we outplayed them most of the game. Not a lucky win imo. If Pies won it would have been more lucky for them considering we outplayed them for most of the match.

There's genuinely nothing positive about this game, bar McCartin, Melican and Blakey holding up extremely well.

And once again the effort of Gulden to run himself to the point of
cardiac arrest. Piss Parker and Rampe off as Captains now and let this bloke lead like he was born to. Him and Mills next yr before taking over by himself. Nowhere near the player Kelly was just yet but he does have something beating inside that jumper that Kelly had.

Warner’s decline has been precipitous and painful. One of the biggest of the many disappointments this season.

Backing the system isn’t going to work tonight. They have the pressure game and kick to a leading player we hack kick to a Carlton chest mark.

I cannot believe the lack of leads. It’s almost like they don’t think they are a genuine target but if they lead it opens up a space behind them for the next lead. Amateur hour.

Don't remember having a stoppage inside 50 or it really being in there for any period of time. Our game is based on keeping it in there with repeat entries and you cant do that if the ball comes out every time it hits the ground after a marking contest.

No doubt they are trying but their lack of Steel gritting the teeth hardness do deny Carlton is questionable

We have conceded goals in the final minutes of quarters on such a regular basis this year it's almost like clockwork. You could see it coming. Just not good enough.

Yep, 100% agree and we've needed a player like that for about 4 seasons. We've clearly not been able to recruit one, and we sure has heck haven't drafted one.
