there is a little place called Melbourne.

Would have preferred another opponent than a SA club on the Gather Round, good spot to visit.

24 rounds seems crazy to me.

Seems reasonable, start 8 games with extra rest and only 3 with less. The less favourable breaks between games aren't generally against strong opposition.

Seems a pretty good draw for us. There are a few games in the TBC rounds that are also likely to end up in prime time. Two games in Sydney as well, great to get a couple of chances to see the boys .

I know it's good for the club getting the primetime spots commercially but I would much prefer more Saturday games - only have 3 in the first 15 rounds.

Not sure that there's a lot to complain about there. Been a long time since I've been so keen about a season. I'm always keen but for 2023 I am uber keen.

I have the same feeling too. Afternoon games work best for us when bringing my 4yo along. Might aim for the Norf, Saints,Pies and Suns games - the only real suitable timing options for us.

Rounds 1-12: We play against 7 Top 8 sides from 2022 (including a run of Lions, Dogs, Pies, Swans and Dees between rounds 8 and 12).

Rounds 13-24: We play against 3 Top 8 sides from 2022 (Dockers, Pies and Dees)

First half of the year is going to be absolutely critical if we are going to have some success in 23'.

The lions double ups are pies, dees. Freo. Sun's. Crows and saints.

Ours are pies, dees, sun's, saints,
Eagles and giants.

So 4 identicals and they have freo (6th and crows 15th) whilst we have giants 16th and Eagles 17th.

Apologies if I have it wrong but we look to have the easier of the two fixtures based on last year's ladder positions.
