Whateley is a creepy looking fück. Wouldn't be surprised to see him on some crimebusters show being caught luring a 12yo boy to Mickey D's with the promise of a rare Pokemon and a thicc-shake.

Gee whiz, the amount of freakin' excuses this guy makes.

If we'd just beaten Collingwood, we would have finished top 2, and we only lost by 2 points!

...yeah, and the other way? Only beating Sydney because the kick dropped short, only beating Essendon because Dan Houston kicked a monster from outside 50 after the siren... goddamn.
Pathetic interview. Nothing about that suggested we would get anything other than the results of the past 11 years.

Oozes mediocrity.

Accepting and praising failure because we were close. "Oh we were mostly good enough".

No, until you're beating every side in the league weekly by 10 goals, you have a lot of improvement left. We need to be the best, not just a capable side. Accepting elements of our game that were ok, and not striving for absolute excellence is literally the definition of mediocrity.

So quite a big article on Ken's thoughts in the Tiser today, and it basically said the big move he's been cooking up is... Wines in the middle and Drew to the wing.

Only other comment of note that Esava can also play on smalls, so presumably he's taking the McKenzie deep defender role, and BTZ can play more attacking than people think.

For the wings I'd have a mix of Bergs, Jase, Farrell and Williams (might not have the tank).

Pretty keen to see our mids fit and firing.
Oath, we have MULTIPLE wing options and blokes that could develop into generational wingmen… but we will turn our best defensive centerman into a slow, plodding kick and catch wingman… we won’t be able to run and break lines, be slow and predictable moving the footy forward and finish 12th yet again…

We should rotate our wings periodically by resting them every few games to stop fatigue over a long season.
Over the course of the year we could have SPP, Jase, Farrell, Bergs, Jones, JHF, Houston, etc all given a go there.
Makes it hard for the oppo to devise a game plan to stifle us if we keep the wings in a state of flux

Drew to the wing. Lol. We just gave him a five year contract and before a ball has even been bounced he's already been shunted out of the only position he's good at. Well done list management team.

I do quite like the SPP option to the wing - just not sure how the forward line would function without him.
