Has been a good year. The Crows gave me hope for the first time.

I really enjoyed watching the Crows this year. Quite a few games where I expected almost nothing and we came out strongly.

Hill did bugger all in the second half but 4 goals might win it. Daicos with 29 but not really noteworthy, Crisp had some big moments and kicked some big goals.

Would be the order I think - Mitchell the other in the mix

However what odds would you have that the one dodgy, late call would favour Collingwood?

vs favouring Brisbane paying $260billion

Honestly, I think Brisbane was trying to play on at that stage of the game. It wasn't implemented well, but it wasn't the time for slow football.

Still, would have been nice to see it brought back, even if that very rarely happens.

Pies the better side but goalkicking almost cost them. Massive hangar to Hill. Defensive guts won them the game.

That advantage call to the Lions, what if the free had gone back?.

I hope this rivalry is reborn and we see more great finals battles over the next few years.

Up until the terrible advantage it was for the most part, except for some bias towards Collingwood in the first quarter. It was a good game, but there is no maybe about that advantage call being called back.

Except advantage calls are almost never called back, and pressing forward as quickly as possible WAS to Brisbane's advantage. It just wasn't a well struck kick.

And there was no umpire bias. Just some 50/50 decisions that we didn't like the outcome of. I think the umpires did an excellent job of not getting sucked in. Some blatant staging for free today, and nearly all ignored.

Yes. You can clearly partition his game into the "shut down Andrews" (Adequate) part and the "Everything else" (abysmal) parts

I reckon the players heard the whistle and kept going knowing a structured free kick would be to their detriment.

It would have sapped time, Collingwood players could structure up and they only had 5 marks inside 50 all day. So quick chaos ball was their biggest score source.

I just watched a little of the replay on Foxtel Go. It was much, much better than the 7 stream. The resolution was actually as advertised and the bit rate much higher, even though the source would have been the same. I could actually see the ball going through the goals on Foxtel, but had a lot of trouble on 7. Disgraceful really when there is no choice.

The "role" Frampton was playing was commentary bias. Made up by them when it was obvious Billy was out of his depth. Andrews towelled him up.


Andrews had 16 disposals and 3 score involvements. Two more score involvements than Billy.


Coleman was involved in the intercept play, so Andrews did less of that.
