I'm happy to agree to disagree, but spare me the sarcasm, please; save yours for the posters who do make snide remarks at you.

Jenny, your often-repeated claim that the Crows have been "there and thereabouts" is not supported by the facts:
--- of their W/L record, nor
--- their Ladder position.
As for the "rebuild", it was Nicks who took us from 11th to 18th, but I've expressed sympathy/leeway for 2020 and 2021, previously. I don't see 15th==>14th==>10th and back to 15th as anything to 'crow' about.

Nicks' W-L-D record is the third-worst of any AFL Coach, ever. Not just with the Crows. Any Coach, EVER, and he's ours .

Also, have a look at the way the Crows play . Look at the pattern of get behind, fight back, lose.
Their 2nd quarter vs. GWS was a joy to watch until Nicks put the brakes on after which GWS kicked the next 5 goals. Good one, Nicksy. The boys get us ahead and you slowed us down again, as in many games before.

How many years of failure are you going to give Nicks, accepting failure as ok because it's a "rebuild"?

Re: tonight's game, I'll watch it and hope that we win. I always want us to win.
Then the reality of 2020-2024 will sink in. I'll see that the rest of the season is lost and that we'll have to wait yet another year for Nicks to come good, miraculously, somehow. If ever.
The negatives from the Nicks years far outweigh the positives; I've had enough of him.

Losses have been by small margins for most games (hence there and there abouts). When you are being flogged every game you aren’t there and there abouts. We are still a very young and inexperienced team. This also accounts for the inconsistent performances. The drop off of our senior players was one that many of us saw coming and I’m still bewildered why they didn’t stagger the retirement of the three seniors. Sloane last year, Smith this year and Tex (if capable) next year. Now it looks like we SHOULD lose them all this year (not allowing for a trigger clause in Smith’s contract). You are forgetting I was also in the “he needs to go camp”, but the minute they announced his extension, I saw absolutely no point in banging on the “sack him” drum. It’s just not going to happen. So.. here we are. Hoping my team gives young players a game (they are, finally), that they put up a fight if they can’t win (they are) and that Nicks gets surrounded by better people for next year (hopefully this is happening).

They're still losses.
The pattern of those losses (get behind, fight back, lose) has been from bad starts and negative lapses which allow multiple goals; very disconcerting to me.
If there's a (Nicks) method to that madness, I can't see it.

I'm tired of it.
Here's some numbers for you:
Adelaide (24.1 years) is 14th oldest side, 60.2 games avge, 15th place.
Fremantle (23.9 years) is 17th oldest, 55.4 games avge, 4th place.

I don't hear Fremantle bleating about their youth or lack of experience.

They are not smart enough to do that. Nicks would still be playing Sloane but for that eye injury.

I see what you mean. It's as bad as banging on the we-wuz-robbed drum (Sydney game 2023), if not worse.
We're stuck with him probably until the bye in 2025, but like I said --- I don't have to like it.

If Nicks needs such expert support after nearly 5 years, maybe he's just not the man for the job?
