And that’s why Kirby is my spirit animal…
What is an example of irregardless in a sentence?

despite; not being affected by something: I don't think children should be hit, irregardless of what they've done wrong.

Is irregardless grammatically correct?

Is irregardless a word? Yes. It may not be a word that you like, or a word that you would use in a term paper, but irregardless certainly is a word. It has been in use for well over 200 years, employed by a large number of people across a wide geographic range and with a consistent meaning.

The answer to your question is “any sentence which already contains the word ‘regardless’”.

They’re the same thing.

It’s like using “normalcy” to mean “normality”; the former started out as a mathematical term and then was misused by w***ers trying to sound intelligent.

I vote for Neil as chairman of this board.

Irregardless is definitely a word and an excellent example of a dermie.

dermie: n - a literary technique where the speaker uses language designed to sound intelligent, but which shows that the speaker isn't intelligent.
My dictionary has the word scratched out with a blood soaked chicken claw.

Ok. I'm now afraid, particulary with your well known cursing powers. I will refrain, disregardless of how much I want to use the word.

Please give “healthful” a wide berth while you’re at it!

I think it’s irreally a word and I irrecommend its use.

Nick might need a week off, so might Mitchell.

Hopefully it's a low-grade for Murphy and he can back for the first final, we're going to miss him.

I think a week off for Nick would be great for him.

Can't be easy for a young lean body to get punished so much every week. Much rather have him fresh for finals.

We can swap out Murphy for Frampton and I believe we won't be really worse off overall. They both have different strengths.

Daicos out for 6 weeks with a hairline fracture... Back for the preliminary final.

The silver lining here is that it’s unlikely to be made worse through playing through pain if he can come back a week early. Bones tend to be more predictable than soft tissue injuries
