I posted a link to the comparison between Laird and Cripps (where the site lists the stats for each side by side) AFTER you posted the reason Laird was a b-grader being his kicking and his poor shots on goal. As I have said since, this was to highlight that using Disposal Efficiency and Clangers and even Goal Accuracy to determine an A-Grader in the midfield was flawed.
I understand why you say it's laughable to compare Laird to Cripps - that was why I chose Cripps. Duh. I knew you would love Cripps and dream of Laird being like him ... even though he is comparable if not worse in the exact stats you were proclaiming made Laird ordinary.

Just admit that your reasoning for Laird not being "A-Grade" was wrong, and all is fine and dandy.

Laird is a good footballer. The reason he is not the elite top of the pile game breaker has nothing to do with the traits you tried to sneak through with your usual dribble.

I think all we could offer was two years and he would of wanted longer. He has never been great at looking after himself and given he is getting older I can see why we did what we did.

McAdams looked his fittest this year so more than likely related with his rehab or is just an excuse instead of yes I left for more money.
