Pretty good attempt that shows me he at least has a decent understanding of us. Does anyone know if he’s given a prediction on us for the future?

Kinda desperate for a good detailed analysis of us that doesn’t live in the positive (like myself) or dwell in the negative (like a few here, no hate I understand the feeling). The Mongrel Punt is normally decent but probably a while till they do a season write up/ prediction.

Gotta wait till the dust settles and people want their footy again. January is usually that time.

Would be an unrestricted FA, most likely would be band 2 compo so an end of first round pick (19/20ish) is the likely outcome.

Whats the point. We seem doomed to middle of the table:

• Putridly managed teams (Melb, North) get gifted enough top end talent they eventually jag a list capable of premierships
• Big Vic teams constantly use their built in advantages (15 home games a year, minimal travel, MCG, big crowds) to draw players
• NSW/QLD teams contantly getting gifts/advantages from the AFL due to their developmental market status (i.e. forever)
• New Tassie team set to get lots of advantages, picks etc
• Father-son rules that heavily favour VFL clubs helping them win premierships (Geelong, Collingwood)

When I see the state of the competition in the AFL (i.e. the other clubs), I think it will be a miracle if we win a flag given the flaws in our list (i.e. midfield depth).

Because he always does his research. Doesn't mean he can't be wrong but he's in the category with Daniels in that if they say something there is a good reason for it.

I've been thinking this too. We are the most disadvantaged club in the whole competition. WC are the richest club. Adelaide and Port don't have to travel far to play in Melbourne. And all the other ones you have covered. I bet the Tasmanian team wins a premiership before we do.

Don’t be many of the vic media regarding freo too much TBH

Wouldn’t surprise me if Schulz deal is done tomorrow or Friday. Then freo can have a crack at something or someone over the weekend
