A real supporter goes to support his or her club no matter what I will be there as I was there in 1972 for my 1st game at Arden Street as I was there for the ups and downs sitting thru the 1975,2x1977,1996 and 1999 Grand Finals and the pain of 1974,1976,1978 and the Nightmare of the Grand Final in 1998.
Like you I support my club as well and will be there this Good Friday but sometimes supporters of this club need a wake up call and a boot up the backside to attend .
I just don’t like Free loaders and Token Gestures rolling up when ever they want when ever they want that are more then likely to receive a ticket to a Grand Final if we get there before the harden on supporters that go every week.
Hay you may not like me fine and you may tell supporters to stick up me by not attending I really don’t care for as there not true supporters of this club.
As a club we need every member/supporter to attend games in Victoria whether it’s home or away as the Landscape of this club will be changing shortly once Tasmania come in to the AFL no $500k per game in Hobart so the supporters need to understand the cost of running a club is going up every year.
Then tell me what happens for example if in 2026 North play a home game in the middle of winter at 4:40pm vs with Gold Coast or GWS on a Sunday at Marvel and tell how people will turn up? We be lucky to 15k.
So every person who supports our club need to support it not just buying a membership or merchandise but by attending as a club we haven’t got the umbrella of the protection of the AFL like the Western Scumdogs or St.Kilda or the interstate sides and as a sporting organisation in this country we are despised and hated with a passion .
This Club and it’s supporters need to take the attitude it’s us vs them .

I have a reserved seat, but my two boys who are both under 6 only have a general admission membership.
Do I need to book them a seat or will they be fine to scan and get in?

Rang membership dept today, event is a sellout, he said if you get there at opening the first 3000 ga entries will scan through. Gates open at 2.30.

I just used the link GR provided above and upgrade a couple of the kids memberships to have a seat on Friday. Cost me $6 each, at least they’re guaranteed now.

Didn’t you get your added $60 Reserve Seat that you had to opt out of last October?

Of course I did and forgot to opt out but now I have a seat for Friday

I just hope it’s a better game than recently on GF

yeah the whole system is a fiasco, frustrated us to no end, stupid app wants Ticketmaster details which i know work because i can log into ticketmaster however the app keeps returning "something went wrong" screen, in the end we bought a couple of reserved tickets from ticketek for mega bucks outside of membership app. as much as i love the club the whole membership experience for the last 8 years has been underwhelming to say the least, i dont specifically blame the club as they are bound to the ticketek/AFL framework but talk about a cluister*

so i shut up and buy a membership for 8 years on the odd chance i will have time to get to a match, and on the occasion i do have to get a ticket outside the framework, unbelievable. but i did get 3 bumper stickers in that period,

i think those functions only work for members with reserved seating, our experiance was same as Engimals, sea of blanlk barcode screns and "error" messages.

Oh wow! Not used to our games being a sell-out. So even if my GA ticket has a seat number I have to be one of the lucky 3k?

its all you can do other than buying a public reserved ticket outside of the membership framework for over 100 bucks ea ( if there are any left) which is what we did because we cant make 2:30 and wasnt going to travel for 3 and a half hours only to be turned away and listen on radio on trip home.
