Falls under the CMacs banner, likely to get a good run at it but I wouldn't count on him being our 4th or 5th most frequent CBA attendee. More like CMac1 last year as a high half forward, Sam Mitchell flagged him for this sort of role a bit after the draft.Mackenzie?
After having a good think about it, I’ve decided to slightly rethink my mids strategy as there’s much more worthwhile and upside picks for decent prices. I had Laird and Touk but that took up a bit too much money for me to make an upgrade in the ruck and defensive department (such as bringing in a premo) as they were a bit thin initially. Have Clarry as my Uber premo at the moment becuase his consistency is too good to pass up.
Ones on my watchlist
Josh Kelly- never had him in my side last year and if Leon Cameron were still there I’d probably avoid him, but with a new coach, new system and Hopper and Taranto gone, his scoring could be really good and get a lot more of the ball. Could make a nice pairing with Green in my team. Below 600k too. Just has to stay on the park though.
Hugh McCluggage- Surprised to see him barely talked about. Primed for a big breakout season and the back half of last year showed his potential. Nice $570k price too.
Noah Anderson- A lot of hype around him as has been talked about so far. Could push a 100+ average which makes him very tempting.
LDU- I have Simpkin in my team currently but LDU is another breakout candidate and had a brilliant end to the season. 6 tons in his last 7, same as Simpkin, but LDU costs $70k more.
Zerrett, Brayshaw, Parish, Steele are also in consideration.
I also had that in the back of my mind, which is why he’s probably slightly lower on the list. Not sure what impact Dunkley will have on luggage

Zerret is the only SuperCoach player from the last 5 years to average 114 or better
take that with what you want. I very rarely select guys from my own team but after I heard that he became so bloody tempting. Even more if he does get the big (C) on his name on the team sheet.
I had Merrett second half of last season. He was a good trade in because I got him cheap. I also hated every second of owning him as he has a small Chol, and can't be trusted.Numbers incorrect on my end (100+ for seasons on end) but point remains, Merrett is criminally under rated
Only thing I have found was a suggestion he had CoVid pre Christmas and had lost a lot of weight .....that said Steele has been training fully since Christmas & not seeing any red flagsRead someone saying something about Steele having a bit of an interruption to his preseason.
Anyone know anything about this? Can see it mentioned after a quick scan of the St Kilda board . . .
Pretty sure he’s got the non contract hat on at training unless that has changedOnly thing I have found was a suggestion he had CoVid pre Christmas and had lost a lot of weight .....that said Steele has been training fully since Christmas & not seeing any red flags

IMO ....yes, and another 6 weeks to R1 ...so Steele should be fineSoo… is he fit?
Agree and locked in my team for now.IMO ....yes, and another 6 weeks to R1 ...so Steele should be fine
Locked for me again.View attachment 1594466
Many Podcasts are looking for the magic player, the next big mover ....saying we know all about Macrae ....yes he's boring, but a boring player that delivers SP scores year after year
Has a min 10 point ave growth & represents excellent value
So he had an injury interrupted season last year, and isn't in full training yet. But you are still happy to pick Steele ahead of others who are fully fit?IMO ....yes, and another 6 weeks to R1 ...so Steele should be fine
My two breakout mids 110-120:
Anderson
Green

Why? Not saying you should or shouldn't, curious about the rational.Yes ...at the moment
Locked in my team and a bargain at 600k.IMO ....yes, and another 6 weeks to R1 ...so Steele should be fine
