I wonder if we go Curtin and O'Sullivan with pick 2 and 3 and lock in our defenders for the next 10 years
Mate I am no ITK but my spidey sense says at this point McKercher is very likely.
Did you see Sanders on Gettable?
Almost unprompted, the guy we're prelisting is there talking about how much the two compliment each other, and how he's hoping they end up on the same AFL list.
There was just something in that sequence that suggested to me he's got confidence that's the way things will pan out.
I suspect and hope we add one of the two talls you mentioned as our third pick, with a KPF from Port's pick.

I like the idea. Especially because Curtin is so versatile. Logue/Curtin/O'Sullivan can work.

I just have a feeling the McKercher is basically locked in and he'll play off HBF or wing next year.

If we can find a way to get 2, 3 and trade into 5-8 range then I'd love to get McKercher, Curtin, O'Sullivan, Sanders.

Gold Coast pick 5 =1878 points
For
Port pick about 15,39,54,59 =1949 points

We have 2,3,5 and Sanders

They have enough points to match everything. They don't need extra points.

I think that if they trade pick 5 it will be for a player or future pick and then either go into deficit or trade an F2 or F3 to get points in this draft.

At least get one of Curtains or O’Sullivan please.

We are all in on McKercher ahead of Watson and co. We also rate Sanders very highly.

I'd 100% trade our first next year for that opportunity

I really hope we're throwing money at BFNAAK Flanders.

Would we entertain trading our future first if it was getting us Flanders and pick 5 (assuming a player like O'Sullivan is worth 5 and we want him)?

We would need to engineer it to get future picks back the other way, although thinking we can get their future first in the swap is probably a big footy fantasy...

Love to bring them all through together, George almost part of that mix too looking to debut next year. If we take McKercher and Sanders lands, we’ll be well stocked for mids which next years top 5 all look to be. KPP this year could be a consideration.
