Love those highlights

Philactides and Watson the dream

Archer Reid could be good for us too
I feel like we have to leave with a key forward, just to have another elite key forward talent on the list.

Reid fits the mould, seriously good on the lead.

Otherwise if Logan Morris does slip due to Western Jets + lack of height a draft of Philactides, Watson & Morris would be elite.

We churn through half backs like no tomorrow.

But, I'd still love a great user that could release Sheezel into a different role next year.

In addition, I think down the track the tall clearance midfielder is Goater......

I'm not confident of Perez making the grade at this stage.
I wonder if Drury is going to step into that hb role. And there is the chance that it is TT.

There is still chat as to whether he is in our NGA or not. Not that it will matter because he’ll go too 30.

Seen a bit of him last year and man, he has added some condition to his frame. This image is of him last year. In that video he looks like he has the same body shape has JHF.

I was gonna say the same, looks like jhf

All round 1 u18 game replays are here:

Watching the Bendigo vs Rebels replay.

I like the look of Luamon Lual.

He's Dogs NGA of sudanese background.

He was close to BOG for Ballarat as a medium defender (180cm).

But is quick, composed, intercepted really well.

He might be that small defender we need long term imo.

I like him as a top 40 pick to beat the bid.

He had a pretty decent game in the Under 17 futures game towards the end of last year too. Played all of last year as an under ager, so the rebels must've seen a lot of talent in him early on.

He reads the play really well both when he is intercepting or when he is providing run off half back. I'm tipping he'd test pretty well in just about all of the tests.

Best available as always but it'd be nice if our picks netted:

1x tall clearance mid
1x opportunist small forward
1x KPF
1x KPD
Every year we list those bottom three and nearly every year, it never happens. But I like your optimism.

Philactides giving off Bailey Smith vibes.

He had a medical setback and a shoulder injury, but what do you think the reason was that he didn't get drafted? His combine results were pretty good from memory as well.

He seems perfectly suited to a wing at the next level.

Early days, but this would be my top 20 at this stage:

1. Harley Reid
2. Daniel Curtain
3. Jed Walter
4. Aston Moir
5. Zane Duursma
6. Archer Reid
7. Nick Watson
8. Nate Caddy
9. Koltyn Tholstrup
10. Colby McKercher
11. Jack Delean
12. Nathan Philactides
13. Mitchell Edwards
14. Ryley Sanders
15. Will Lorenz
16. Riley Hardeman
17. Ben Ridgeway
18. Lual Luamon
19. Sam Frangalas
20. Logan Morris

Next Best (in no particular order):

Jack Callinan, Arie Schoenmaker, Tom Beaumont, Will Patton, Riley Weatherill, Koen Sanchez, Clay Hall, Alex Holt, Luca Slade, Kane MacCauliffe, George Stevens, Archie Roberts, Cam Nyko, Coen Livingstone, Connor O'Sullivan and Will McCabe.

He'd be on to keep an eye on for the mid season draft. 190cm strong runners don't grow on trees, and with his athletic profile he has stacks of upside.

I'd say the only reason why he didn't get drafted was due to exposed form, he really didn't get an extended crack at is last year with only the one game for Metro and 4 or 5 games for Oakleigh. In those games he was good without being outstanding, and he hasn't been one to accumulate stacks of the footy when playing behind the ball across half back.

I thought Caddy broke his leg?

George Stevens will be a first rounder and quite possibly the best pure mid in the draft pool.

Ashton Moir is an interesting one has supreme talent but reckon a lot will come down to his midfield time this year and aptitude for training (to become a full time mid) and his willingness to move interstate if need be.

If he has those things I imagine he could be a good pick up for us
