George Stevens will be a first rounder and quite possibly the best pure mid in the draft pool.

Could well be, but I've only seem limited vision of him at this early stage. I'm only going off what I've seen over the last 18 months.

He is definitely one that I'm excited to watch.

I'd imagine that at least 8-10 of my top 20 probably won't be in the top 20 come the end of the season.

Yeah it’s hard to predict how this crop evolves. Stevens brought his own footy on the weekend.

Is he eligible for the MSD? Liked his game late on in the grand final and wonder why he didn't picked up even as a rookie!
Yes he’s eligible for the MSD. During the champs I thought he showed enough to get a rookie spot. He wasn’t dominant but he took some really strong grabs to suggest he has upside as a big fella. I reckon his knock must be his consistency and power. Is he aligned to any VFL club? He’s a really good kid as well.

MSD eligible.

I was pretty certain he’d get a rookie spot. He has a pretty decent athletic profile and has plenty of scope for potential with his size. He has good forward craft, strong hands, neat set shot and good character.

I thought it may have been his tank as to why he didn’t get drafted but he is a decent runner for a guy his size.

He actually reminds me a fair bit of a Larkey at the same age.

Aligned with Collingwood VFL.

SA TEEN ON THE RISE

AFL clubs in need of key forward help have a new name to follow throughout this season, with the emergence of Central Districts target Liam Fawcett.

Fawcett finished last year strongly – kicking 14 goals in his last five under-18 games – and has picked up where he left off, including racking up 27 disposals, 14 marks and 13 score involvements, and kicking 3.4, on Saturday against South Adelaide.

The 17-year-old is a big, powerful forward whose contested marking has come on in leaps and bounds, and recruiters are also impressed with his work rate and significant improvement in the past 12 months.
Fawcett appears to thrive in pressure moments, too, slotting a game-winner from a set shot in the dying seconds against Norwood last season.

Pretty evident we need another KPB so we should be looking at Curtin with our first now.

Use Poorts first on Watson and our second on a KPF.

Hopefully Sanders is allocated NGA too.

Rookie list a project Ruck or use future picks to trade for one.

We don’t have our second.

We traded our second and our PP.
