Darcy Wilson from Bushrangers got to be one to keep an eye on, midfielder forward 185cm, has 2 out of 3 games with 20 touches & 3 goals. Was one of the best players when I watched a half of the game vs Gippsland.

This draft is really shaping up to be a good one, big pool of talented players, I’d be looking to get into the second round somehow.

Very much on my watch list as well. Has some moves for a mid forward. Classy but hard as well.

I mentioned him last week but as a tall Connor O’Sullivan looks super talented. He is 198cm and has really good movement for a guy his size. Played more across centre half back this week and 19 disposals, 6 marks and 7 rebound 50’s. Had had an impact no matter where he has played in the first 3 rounds of the Coates league

I had Nick Watson around the 12-14 mark but I’m gonna revise that. He’s the clear #2 and he’s coming for Harley. Let’s see how the academy boys go next week against Port Adelaide. But I’m tipping Watson will be the academy’s best. He was bloody good yesterday.
Been watching the Wizz for a couple years, top 5 without a doubt despite his height, just a class act. Nate Caddy will end up being a 192 very talented mid/forward in the future, haven’t seen such raw ability in a youngster in years.

I want both wiz watto and caddy with our 2 first rounders

SIZE DOESN’T MATTER

Presumptive top-five draft pick Nick Watson gave recruiters a reminder of just what he can offer AFL clubs with a brilliant performance for under-18 club Eastern Ranges on Good Friday.

Watson, nicknamed the “Wizard″⁣, is only 170 centimetres tall, but starred with 34 disposals, two goals from five scoring shots, 12 score involvements and eight inside 50s in the Ranges’ six-goal victory over Northern Knights.

The 18-year-old is best known as a forward, but is being used in a variety of roles this season, including taking some kick-ins on Friday.
Powerful midfielder Harley Reid is the consensus No.1 pick this year, but Watson sits in the next tier of prospects, although there are some people who think there is a chance he might slide later into the top 10 because of his lack of height.

Being vertically challenged has not stopped players such as Brent Harvey and Caleb Daniel from being All-Australians, while Charlie Spargo, at 173 centimetres, has become an important part of Melbourne’s forward line.

In other draft-related news, an under-16 carnival is being played this week between Talent League clubs that will help decide the Vic Metro and Vic Country squads for the national championships in June and July.

The lad moves like a midfielder, huge upside!
How do u get he moves like a midfielder from that vision? I could be wrong but at no stage have I ever seen any midfield attributes in Caddy. He’s a good fwd and that’s where he’ll play senior footy. Be interesting to see how he goes against Port this weekend.

Just by his stride and gait, moves freely and runs on top of the ground. Recruiters will love this at 192/3 cm.
Also watched him live last year a couple times when he ran thru the midfield.

Yes correct he will play forward but at that height he’ll need to run well in the AFL.
