Rodgers and Hackett's mate got cut, Aaron is gonna be pissed.

Jets released QB Tim Boyle.
Boyle threw four picks and one touchdown in two games as New York’s starter after the team succumbed to public pressure and benched Zach Wilson. The team has reportedly asked Wilson to step back into to the starting job — a request not fully embraced by the third-year quarterback. Wilson will likely get the starting gig for Week 14 against the Texans now that Boyle is out of the picture. The Jets signed journeyman QB Brett Rypien on Tuesday.
Well considering that Salah and the GM's jobs lay at the hands of Rodgers depending if he wants to work with them again in 24. They should both start looking at real estate agents to sell.

Rodgers is the GM.

"shadow" GM like he was in Green Bay and Lebron in the NBA

Gutey is the man in the GB. Drafted Love and defense constantly in the first round. Aaron has far more power with the Jets I reckon.

Drafting Love caused the start of the issues in GB, and what gave him some power in player he wanted and his last 2 huge contracts. otherwise he said he wasnt coming back. It also lead to back to back MVP seasons.

Why not Tua as MVP?

Surely if it's a QB and frankly it shouldn't be this year but CJ Stroud is the one. Yet I know they will do neither. I won't cry if they give it to Purdy he is the "safe" choice but for me it's either CJ or Tyreek (only if he gets 2000 yards)

Today in graphics that somehow made it onto TV

Unless Dallas get the refs that the Eagles had against Miami where it was like 20 penalties to 0 and this is just a warning.

Do you think he needs to do it in the 16-game window? At his current YPG he'll be about 25 yards shy, but on target for 2098 in 17 games.

Probably but it shouldn’t matter. Him or Stroud not fussed who gets it

Stroud needs to win the division to get the MVP, IMO. With Lawrence injured, it's a distinct possibility.

Still maintain if it is a QB (and this has been an average year for them all) should be him. I won’t completely complain if they go Purdy but really Tyreek has been miles ahead this season.

He probably gets it in 16 games anyway

a couple of interesting things with TV this week. Fox have the single game weekend, but the A team is on the late game with 9ers/Seattle which is actually shown in the most markets.

and even with the 2 MNF games there is a Manningcast but not on TV here. But it will flip between games.

Anyone who votes Purdy should be stripped of voting rights.

Yeah some really good games this week. Cowboys win this week they could top the division somehow lol

I agree with you but it's the safe choice lets be real look at the QB options

Mahomes- he is only in the chat because his name is Mahomes that it
Dak- would need to top the division
Stroud- he's my choice if they go QB but you have pointed out rightly so he's a rookie and a small market. Needs to win the division probably.
Purdy- Solid QB in a side that has lost once all year (they won't lose again)

It's why Tyreek Hill should win, every one of these options is meh. Hill has flat out DOMINATED this year.

Its not the safe pick. its the lazy pick.

"lets just pick the QB on one of the best teams"
the MVP is already a joke award since its QB only. but if they want to put some relevancy on it. This is the year. no standout QB's other than a rookie. Either Stroud or Hill.

I agree with you, those are my top 2, I do have Purdy third so I wouldn't hate it just would be a meh selection. Hill is the best player this season.

Any QB who wins out from here, is likely to win MVP. Voters love QBs from a winning team.

Lamar who isn’t even on your list but IF he wins out, then he probably wins MVP. That would involve beating Jags, Dolphins, 49ers, Steelers and Rams. Rams being a tie breaker off playoffs as the worst team on that list.

Personally, Hill should win it. But QBs do.

Complete oversight on Lamar, sorry was doing the list quickly, agree on him.

Cant see Jackson getting it again when the yds might be the same as his MVP year but TD's are about half. He had 42 [36 pass 7 rush] total TD's that year, this year 13 pass 5 rush.

and Stroud already has better numbers. It would be saying rookies dont even bother looking at the MVP

What has Purdy done that is MVP level?
He is a prefect QB for the 9ers system

Doesnt Dak have similar numbers with less weapons to use?

Dak will need to win the division, he might as lets be real Philly could easily drop this week

Lamar is like the other ones, the whole year of established QB's have been inconsistent at best. Purdy is solid but he is a system QB, and McCaffney is their best player (but he isn't near the numbers for an MVP year). You'd be giving it to Purdy as the team ended with the best record.

Stroud has been beyond exceptional, forget he's a rookie, those numbers are MVP worthy. That's if they don't go Tyreek, hopefully they do. Stroud will win plenty this is the year to go away from a QB.
