Dak will need to win the division, he might as lets be real Philly could easily drop this week

Even if Philly did, we would still own the tiebreaker if we won out from there. Dak meanwhile has to play Buff, Miami, Detroit.

The Cowboys do not have a single win against a winning team yet. Dak's made it rain against a cupcake schedule, the main difference between this and other years is that they've only had cupcakes so far.

Trust me I expect the Cowboys to flop at least 2 of those but if they do win the division watch them give it to Dak

Stroud’s influence has been transformational from a ‘valuable’ point of view to his team. Hurts, Purdy, Dak, Lamar all in good teams. Stroud has turned Texans from bottom feeder to possible division winner

That division's the AFC South tho

Remember when the Niners went on a month long slide and people were questioning whether Purdy was even an upgrade on the 95 other QBs that Shanahan has rinsed through in his time as a head coach.

Pepperidge farm remembers.

I mean, I'm still not sure.

He's not even the most valuable player on his own offence.

One of only three divisions without at least a nine win team
Does make it a very competitive division though.

The Texans and Colts are punching way above where most had them.

The absence of a contender in the division makes it easier to win, which reduces how much credit you should get for 'being in with a shot of winning it'. I thought the point obvious.

Disagree entirely.

The NFC South that point stands, the AFC South has some genuinely good sides in it that are playing well.

If you assume the Jags were a contender and they pushed the best sides Houston were a FG away from beating them

Nah, they're ok teams with no real shot in the playoffs.

Winning the AFC South is not a MVP candidature.

Then give it to Tyreek Hill he’s the only other one. None of the QB’s other than Stroud are near a MVP season

MVP season isn't an objective standard though. Like, people think there's some universal quality you must reach.

It's relative to the season that just occurred.

Hill is the only one aside from CJ that’s near the conversation. It shouldn’t be Purdy you could put anyone at qb there and it wouldn’t be that much difference, he’s fine but MVP fine that’s a push. Who else is there? Lamar isn’t near his last MVP year, Dak won’t win the division.
