Jags back to doing Jags things. Terrible idea. Paying a guy who's been a nobody for 6 years after 1/4 of a good season.

I wouldnt trade for potentially one year of Rodgers either, you just know that drama queen is going to play the "I might retire" game next offseason.
How is it being a drama queen?
The dude is 39yo, and is extremely close to the end of his career, of course its going to be a year-by-year proposition.
If he was 30-35, and conceivably still had 5-6 years left and playing the same games, absolutely, drama-queen status. But hes close to the end, and I would say he's the prime age to be giving it some lengthy thought!
IMO, its only holding us hostage if its after the league's new year starts. Changes nothing in the meantime.Rodgers after the Lions game: "ill decide quickly what im doing, I wont hold the Packers hostage"
Also Rodgers: proceeds to hold the Packers hostage by taking his time with a decision. (imo, he wont make a call anytime soon, happy to stand corrected)

For all we know, the Packers have said, we want a decision by insert date, and he's taking up to that time. Just cos the media and fans are impatient campaigners, doesn't mean his decision has to be made for their gratification. He owes us nothing.
Ya reckon teams looking at Carr a gonna bite the bullet before Rodgers decision is made? * no, they're waiting to see if there's a better option, or else he'd be signed by now.
Id rather Carr than Rodgers, costs you nothing in a trade and you dont need to put up with the will I or wont I retire game next offseason. Rodgers wasn't very good last year. No longer worth the hassle of needing to stroke his ego.
There's no ego stroking allowing him to make a retirement decision, ffs! Please tell me how it affects the Packers if the decision was made on Feb 1st or Mar 1st?? The Packers have the plan in place already for if he retires or not.
You're on another planet when it comes to A-A-Ron, I think.
I really don't care if his decision affects the Packers or not, but I highly doubt he makes a call by March 1st (as stated) . He isn't retiring, we all know that.
My read is:
He's just wasting time so the Packers are held hostage and unable to trade him. He'll wait for all the veteran QB needy AFC teams to sign players before announcing he is going around again so the Packers are forced to bring him back.
He's playing the Packers like a fiddle, they want to trade him but he won't let them. He loves the control. He wants to make Gutey pay for drafting Love and for Love to not see the field so the Packers dont know what they have. If the fanbase dont know if Love can be the guy they'll all be on Rodgers side coz they are scared of the unknown.
It's because the earth is flat, every pro athlete worth their salt knows that
He was smart to delete it, but not smart enough to never send it.
Which team is going to do this? You'd have to be ******ed to trade for him if he wants a new contract
NBC's Mike Florio reports Rams CB Jalen Ramsey wants a new contract if traded.
Ramsey has three years left on a five-year extension signed in 2020 that's the second largest cornerback deal in the league. Trading Ramsey before June would leave $19 million in dead money for the Rams while a post-June trade would leave $8.2 million. The Rams don't have the cap space for Ramsey, who wants a new deal after Packers CB Jaire Alexander and Browns CB Denzel Ward got higher averages last offseason. Whatever team trades for Ramsey will need to sign him to an extension that makes him the highest paid corner
Which team is going to do this?

Reckon Mathieu regrets going there yet? Surely there was somewhere better he could've landed?Lot of restructuring contracts going on, headlined by the Saints of course, masters of can kicking
Some notable contracts that cant be cut this year because of can kicking: Thomas aka always injured slant boi (26m guaranteed), Kamara (19m guaranteed), Taysom (23m guaranteed), Winston (11m guaranteed), Jordan (24m guaranteed)
Have already restructured Ramczyk, Mathieu, Maye, McCoy and Lutz, yet still ~ 30m over the cap. What a shambles of an organisation.

Raiders have a bit of cap space, and Vegas seems the perfect place for Ramsey to let his toolishness flow freelyThey traded Mack coz Davis didnt have enough money to put in escrow.
Davis also flew commercial between Oakland and Vegas when they were still located there because of the money it cost to have a private jetThey traded Mack coz Davis didnt have enough money to put in escrow.
Hope he likes January and February's off.He just wanted to go home im pretty sure. Born in NO and played his college ball at LSU
