if ashcroft at 200k is a rookie then im throwing coffield in the same basket. and will stretch it to allen.

my rucks feel like they could score 300+ between them. no uncertainties there.

laird perma captain with 2 genuine vc options. 13 premos. i dont mind it.

No better adrenaline rush than doing your first version of your SC team on the same day as the opening game of the season. You should try it some time instead of doing multiple versions of your teams between now and then. Live dangerously for once!

I'll give you a bit of help with that, this year it's pretty straightforward.


Ackland, Rhett Biglands, Jack Anthony, Relton, Jimmy Toumpas, Cale Morton, Gumbleton, Josh Toy, Wonaeamirii and Josh Schache.

This is spooky. Our top ten is almost identical.

Sure but the SSP is not new it's been around for about a decade. Extra trades last year has killed guns and rookies because mpm teams can now upgrade more of there mid pricers making it impossible for g&r teams to catch up.
No one is stuck with 85 average midpricers anymore.

I agree with this ....I was G & R last year as well .....Started the first few rounds ok



Wasted trades the year B4, so planned to hold trades longer, till the breakout players started to appear

Wrong call ! .....expected the holding of trades to at some stage be a tactical advantage .....didn't eventuate

The 2nd bad call, which many of us do .....is, I used 3 corrective trades after R2, to maximise cash generation .....the teams with MPM already had good cash generation & I burned 3 trades that could have been valuable in the longrun

Yep I went with a boost season. Rounds 6-12 I did 3 trades a week. My rank went from 12k to 2k. It worked really well but I could not catch the midpricers team that started so well. I'm happy enough with my rank in the end but when you look at the total score and your 900 points behind the winner it's a bit of a reality check. I need to be fielding less rookies round 1 this year.
I'm still gonna go with a boost season that was great and I was completed before most teams. I just lacked those extra points from the first 6 rounds. Oh and I need to get better at captain picks. Rank 370ish at the end with 6 captain scores below 100. Live and learn.

Your team is the one that convinced me. I was comparing our rank the whole year trying to catch you. But I swear every midpricer you bought in proceeded to go premo.
I had no chance you ended up with like 25 premos. G&r can not compete with a shit load of luck and well timed trades.

Admittedly, I sit comfortably in the top 5 team posters, but a man has to do something D & M in this world of shite, apart from smoking some of the best weed of my life and creating works of genius in my kitchen.

Any price below Phillips 158K is of course, purely provisional, but also there in reasonable expectation.

English & Grundy I am blaming you lot for already, but the facts, figures, thinking and non-partisan opinions are very convincing.

First team I have seen with 5 forward premos. I don't mind it good work. That defence would need the first few trades used on it. But that's ok.

need one of the 600k boys down back. not fussed with which one i take. spewing i couldnt fit oli florent into my backline though. goater should be priced >300k based on normal sc pricing rules. he can manage anything above a 60 average id hope. locked if named r1.

got my c and vc permalocks in midfield. why take more 600k+ players to make that decision hard every week. then gone with some potential keepers in midfield. if they don't break out like im hoping then will be happy to upgrade them to a fallen super premo.

fwd line is a shambles. but like an organised shamble. ever driven on bali roads? organised chaos i like to call it. just cant seem to let go of butters or taranto..

Docherty will be first picked in my team now that Walsh has gone down, just ahead of Fyffe.

weird logic

the chances all 3 end up top 8 mid is extremely slim. you don't have enough trades to upgrade the rest of your team let alone upgrade 3 players you started as keepers
