Thought Cincotta was fantastic. Kemp erratic. Yes great marks but he’s all or nothing and gets caught under the ball too often. Loses his man.
Kemp plays like he has anxiety...just needs to settle...more game time will fix that. lots of positives with kemp.

agree on Cinc.

Leaving out the WAFL team we played, we've lost seven straight with scores of 62, 60, 74, 59, 57, 51 and then - as if to scream 'broken gameplan' - 44 points. It's June 2, and we're already into 'play the kids' mode. Voss will be sacked - not that it'll make any difference, but that's what we do. I think for anyone over the age of 40, you've already seen your last Carlton premiership.

I’ve asked this question a lot but no one’s been able to answer it.

I went to the dogs game last year and at half time I’ve never been so pumped.Scoring was high our forwards were on fire game plan was awesome.

Personal is relatively the same.Injuries up to know have been ok.
So please answer this question for me.

WTF has happened with us this year?????????

"Dubious defensive positioning" he took 10 marks, 7 intercepts and 3 contested.

Doesn't happen without good positioning. Kid will be a star, needs a good run of games at AFL level.

Didn’t say he wouldn’t be a star. Just he’s such a nice mark and should play forward. He could be a real weapon up there.

He gets lost in defence. If you watch the replays and slow the game down and watch individual contests.. he loses his man far too often. He’s not a natural defender. When he’s in a contest he can take a good clunk hence why I think he should play forward.

Agree he needs to play out the rest of the season. He’s a huge talent.

I wonder why when we can't hold the ball for more than 30 seconds before the ball comes flying back into the back line.

The mids put soooo much pressure on our defence. Too many passengers.

Yep. A thesis could be written on this no doubt but I think in summary our midfield (which was dominating early last year) got found out and over pre season we’ve changed to a more defensive game plan which doesn’t work. Confidence levels of our players are at an all time low. The downward spiral has been steep and look never ending.

Barring an injury emergency, these players should have a black line ruled through their name: Boyd, Cottrell, Dow, Motlop, O'Brien, Owies, Silvagni. Aside from West Coast (and then only maybe) they would not get a game at any other club.

**** we are so boring to watch as a football side. How has it changed so much in 12 months?
The first half of last season we were entertaining even for neutrals to watch.

What have we done to Doc and Saad? Were probably the best two half backs in the comp now have been neutered.
I really hope O'Brien isn't sighted in the senior team again.
We desperately need to find an effective small forward with some speed.

I haven't been on the "sakc" train yet, but he is in trouble if the Dons get us next week and they probably will.

Positives for tonight Kemp, Harry, Cerra and a half from Cripps.

Is Voss turning out to be any better than Teague? He started with a bang and was great for half a season then petered out.

Voss has an infinitely better team at his disposal.

8 years we've been carefully building this list.

For what?
Teague had the game plan without the troops to carry it out. Voss has the troops to carry out his game plan, it just doesn't work against any decent opposition.

Yep came on had a few good touches and then was dragged off. Voss has no idea.
That's because he ran the wrong way to get the ball and hand it off to Cripps. He was not suppose to do that it was the incorrect running pattern.
On a side note it was refreshingly different having a player read the ruck contest, from what I have seen this year the only player at the club with the ability to do it regardless of who wins the tap.
