Statistically speaking since our resurgence the last 3 games we are top 3 or 4 in most statistical measures. Can we sustain it? Odds would suggest prob not but never say never. But that 9 week stretch of poor football was inexcusable when this standard has been set suddenly (and don’t give me the whole personnel line). If we beat Port I'm pitching a tent outside the MCC in preparation for grand final day.
They were very loud. We always get good support over there.Special shout out to the WA Blues fans who again were fantastic today and made a lot of noise and the experience for us watching here in Victoria (or around the rest of Australia) all the more enjoyable !
Saints will get to 13 wins.
We will replace Melbourne in the top 4We will replace them in the 8
We have only faced 13th, 14th and 16th, how we play this week is huge. If we can overcome Port the lid comes right off.Statistically speaking since our resurgence the last 3 games we are top 3 or 4 in most statistical measures. Can we sustain it? Odds would suggest prob not but never say never.
That’s why I’d be happy to let TDK walk if we can get some good picksThe elite are worth their weight in gold.
.
But it's a bloody long tail.
* would have to be the worst 5th place team I’ve seen at this point of the season ever. But when you have stuttering teams like Dogs, Saints and Geelong rounding out the 8 it’s a head scratching season. Please, please, please let us finish 8th and * fifth.
That bump on Pearce in the middle and then to win the footyJack Martin’s intensity in the second half was next level. Had the fumbles in the first half - completely different player after the break.
This style of play wouldn't have been possible with Fisher,Motlop and Durdin playing and Cuningham, Martin and Fogarty on the sidelines.Partly makes me a tad more infuriated that they couldn't figure this out even once in that 6-week stretch, but lessons learnt etc.
Mostly, the balance is exactly right. Quick ball movement exists, and defensive pressure is as the made-up pressure rating says 'elite'.
The JSOS/Young combo is not really sustainable, but boy is this utility version of Jack the best version of him. It seems pretty set where decision re TDK will end up this offseason, but if I'm being honest he is far more suited to play in this brand of footy w/ Jack than Pitt.
Ane his spatial awareness.chsnges direction when he feels someone's on himRandom comment. Love the pick up of Cincotta. Does his job week in week out....

Gov's is just a cork.I also really hope that the MC recognise JSOS' efforts and not simply chop him for TDK. At a guess, Gov misses a week, Young down back and TDK in.
Yes and no.. when we played GCS they were playing for 7th spot. Freo if Geelong coughed up today would’ve been playing for 8th. How often does a team who starts the round at 15th jump up to 11th and is a game out of 8 all of a sudden. We have only faced 13th, 14th and 16th, how we play this week is huge. If we can overcome Port the lid comes right off.
Isn’t that the reason to keep TDK?That’s why I’d be happy to let TDK walk if we can get some good picks
I watched him walk onto the ground in the brace. Was walking around in the room apparently according to MMM
