A tall for a small???
Pitto, TDK and McKay in the same team again even though we have enough evidence it doesn't work.
We found a winning formula but on the verge of securing a finals berth the selectors have gone and re invented the wheel when the wheel wasn't broken..... Are any of those 3 going to apply pressure or tackle like Fog??? NFW!!
JSOS would be a much better in.... his last game he was BOG but oh no the bloke with the bigger pay packet has to come in as us big heads can't have egg on our faces!! Absolute dickheads!!
Sorry Mate you got this one wrong.
Go Back and check McKay's form just before he got injured. In the Freo game, had 20 possessions, 3 goals and one of our best and also tackles well. I'm sure the whole team, especially Charlie, is happy to have him back in.
You need match winners for Finals and he needs a tune up. Go Blues

Will Touk-Touk tag tag again this week? Has taken down Lachie Neale and Errol Gulden (for a half) his past two games. Probably go to Cripps if anyone.

I’d be happy to see JSOS play this weekend in the reserves, we’re tall enough but have still got a good balance of run…

With the reserves game being directly before it there’s a strong possibility that two players get held over for the seniors game as sub & cover…

Boyd sub, allows flexibility for Fisher playing midfield cameos along with Cunners, Martin and Motlop maybe a couple each as well, we’ve been really strong again in CB’s and stoppages with the chance to keep rotating a few more when required…

Great to see Harry back 👍

Doch still in is massive. With Walsh and Cerra not back we have nobody to replace him. Would have had to spin Cunners, Fog (who is also out) or even Fish through there more.

I feel we are a bit tall with the 4 bigs but Harry needs to be in and this week against Witts isn't the week to drop Pitto. If it doesn't go great I could see us bringing SOS in for Pitt next week. Then we go with whatever combination looks better for finals.

Fog out another good test for us. His defensive work has been immense but provides little offensively. If we can maintain our pressure with Owies and Mots he can stay out. Both provide more offensively. If not whichever one has a quiet game can go out for Fog.

Curnow needs to be sub considering we've gone taller.

All helping us workout our best combination come finals.
With the weather expected to be fantastic, going tall is smart.

Harry and Charlie are both great below their knees (TDK not too shabby either) and Harry is seriously fast these days.

What's that old saying about the talls don't get any shorter as the game wears on.....

I think this is potentially the names we expect back in and the start of the unlucky outs.
McKay in- Fog Out. This week

Walsh in - Dow out
Cerra in- Hollands/Cotters out
Gov in- Marchy out. Next week.

Unless there are injuries or complete loss of form, JSOS, Kennedy and Boyd may not be able to break back in.
Voss openly likes pitto/TDK combo which hurts Jack.
Kennedy and Hewitt in together maybe make us a touch slow.
And Fisher has taken Boyd’s role with aplomb.
Gonna be some hungry albeit disappointed lads.

Go blues. Beat this mob with absolute authority and steamroll into September.

Sub gonna be a big call….If we lose a small early and Jack the sub it’s all of a sudden makes us tall…he can pinch hit across all lines so you could make a case for him

Ed probably still gets the nod

I think it will be Ed, especially since we are already taller with mckay in for fog...so if a tall gets injured, we will be fine even bringing Ed on.

Although now without jsos or young in the side, if pitto or tdk go down we won't have a proper backup who can ruck.
