Good on NAB... I'm sure he went public in order to aid the pressure on them in making that offer. But with all the "protection" and supposed analysis done on accounts does make you wonder after X amount of days of him transferring money it wasn't picked up and questioned. I made one transfer to pay a deposit for a veranda that met my limit and 5 minutes later got a call from my bank to confirm why.

When it’s done under your own authority (which most are), I thought insurance coverage or bank liability went out the window.
Jake Weitering becomes an “ambassador” to assist with some recovery.

That Weiters allowed himself to get scammed like that, like seriously making daily transactions at your 'daily limit' to your bank... c'mon. does make me question if perhaps he doesn't have the smarts and potential leader that we initially thought we had

In my line of work I constantly consult and advise executive level persons on all aspects of security, these are highly intelligent and very driven people. There's a reason they are where they are and they are also ****ing clueless about IT security, scams, phishing etc.

I get your point, I cant for the life of me understand how someone's mind doesn't get an inkling that there is something not quite right about a scenario that happened with Weitering but it it is a daily occurrence to people from all walks of life.

If you lost your life savings and for Weitering it would have been a fair bit of $$ it would smash you hard mentally and emotionally and surely affect concentration.

Which is why he needs a break

I think form and confidence is a funny thing, wouldn't be surprised if we win this and start a block of playing better as a team (and get a few wins).
I not unaware of what the team has produced of late. Just wishful thinking that we can turn the corner.

Out: Honey and Ed
In: Kennedy (HFF), Dow

I think he needs a break not because of the money... Weiters has never appeared to enjoy "the game".... he's good at it... but doesn't appear to enjoy it. We need to make him love football again if possible.
not sure how he can be made to enjoy something again that you suggest he never has.........

OUT: Cincotta, Honey, E.Curnow, Kennedy (sub)
IN: Boyd, Binns/O'Brien, Kennedy/Dow

FB:
Newman Young McGovern
HB: Docherty Weitering Saad
C: Acres Cerra Walsh
HF: Motlop C.Curnow O'Brien/Binns
FF: Silvagni McKay C.Durdin

R: Pittonet Cripps Hewett

Int: Kemp, Boyd, Dow/Kennedy, Hollands

Cincotta was not a midfielder, wasn't delivering to the forward line properly, and wasn't defending. He can go back to the VFL and learn the system.
Cincotta played his 2nd game- in his first showed silky skills with speed dash great pick-ups good delivery. He doubled back ito defence and ran both ways

And then under genuine opposition pressure he skidded the ball along the ground when it mattered and didn't really apply any kind of defensive pressure or playmaking.

Funny you say that I was wondering what would of happened if on Friday they sent cripps fwd and let silvagni run with dunkley - be interesting to see what Oppo coach would do same with Steele from saints
They would love it imo. Cripps will get beaten by most third tall defenders and JSOS by players like Dunkley and Steele.
You do see some sides put the player being tagged onto another midfielder therefore giving themselves a spare but with Cripps being fairly one dimensional may make that difficult.

Harry has a great record since 2019 against the Dogs. He was very poor on Friday but he has been good this year, goalkicking aside which has been terrible.

Provided we don’t delist him during the week or move him to CHB as some have suggested I think he’ll play well against the Dogs this weekend.

IMO it has to be Hewett. He did a pretty good job on Neale on Friday.
Bont would absolutely monster Cotts. Won’t ever happen. Hewett I agree is likely.

He actually responded to the fev rumour on he’s podcast this week. He said there’s to much to take on in season and if he did take one on it’d be over summer

After listening to Fev on the Front Bar, it’s a pretty basic fix. Ball drop and mastered by putting one arm behind his back (courtesy of Ross Lyon) at practice.
He’s had two off-seasons since Fev’s approach.
Full-time footballers & ours should be honing their skills more than anything else during their time at the club.

Hard to believe Owies would make much of a difference but there’s no doubt we looked better when he was playing.

Out: Honey Newman
In: Owies Cotts
Does seem to find the space that having Harry/Charlie is meant to create for the others to run into. I thought this was just lucky but maybe he just reads the game better than Durdin and Motlop.

Do hope we stop doing the Walsh off half forward thing to outnumber at the contest. Leave it as 6-6-6 and trust our guns to win out, so we aren't shooting ourselves in the foot.

Bit harsh to single him out of all our defenders. Same amount of turnovers as four of them and less than Young. Kicking efficiency around the same mark as Saad and Kemp.

Pressure acts: Saad 13, Newman 11, Cincotta 10, McGovern 9, Kemp 9, Young 5, Weitering 4.

Surely his great first game earns him some selection good will after a poor team effort in the second game.

Agree. Of all our small forwards, he appears to be the least ‘natural footballer’ type but regularly is the most effective, and knows how and where to position himself.

He has always had had the knack for finding space. It's his best attribute ever since he started in the VFL.

Why can't Harry just get a goal kicking coach???
makes you think what they actually do during player reviews.

**** that's a cop out and a half. Seriously. He's got time and the mental faculty to set up a routine and practice it a few times before and after training.

Why is the earth flat?

Some things just make no sense…

Get him in the guts, on rotations…
