The issue was always Pitto not being able to do anything but tap work and TDK not being able to hit the scoreboard. If Pitto can take a few grabs around the ground and TDK can get a couple of goals, the 2 ruck setup becomes a viable option.
I reckon TDK has really improved both his marking and his kicking at goal since last year.

Just needs to position himself to take more regulation marks (on the lead or 1 on 1) - rather than trying to crash a pack of 8 flying over the top....

Thursday they thought it was Quad.

Serious question
Would you prefer it being a quad or hammy?
I assume a quad would be longer recovery period?
How can you not tell the difference between a quad or a hammy??

I find it hard to believe we would even bother testing Cerra if it was hamstring tightness. With his history you'd think any sign of tightness and he'd be an automatic out?

Risks must be taken when you're confronted by the dynamism of a Laird/Crouch midfield combo. You blokes better pray for a wet track to slow the game down, we've got speed everywhere, it's not just limited to our league leading midfield. The other option is to just rest everyone with a niggle and still win comfortably, but not that comfortably that my multi gets up. Somehow I'll be getting screwed out of it.

Crows seem to be turning every game into a stoppage-fest. It sort of worked for Freo last week, but they have some quick and quality ball-users through the middle. The Crows, aside from Dawson, don’t.

If our stoppage game doesn’t magically turn around today, our half-backs will be the ones we rely on heavily to set up scoring chains. Fortunately they’re all fit and in good form, but I’d rather not be 20 down in clearances again.

If we don’t make their plodding midfield look like the All Stars (still haunted by Gather Round 23) we are probably better by 2 goals a quarter - I’d love at least 6 goals between our small forwards.

To be fair they going aswell in clearances as us so far this season -

Guess who is back again?

Sam Walsh for the win!

Adding another tall in TDK to our forward line and also missing Fog makes me worry about our forward line pressure.

MC must be thinking if Cez is out replace with Kennedy, then we are very short up front outside Mckay and Curnow, hence TDK forward.

As long as we can avoid making Ben Keays look like Gary Ablett I'm happy
