I know we're told that team positions named mean nothing, but I think there's something in Johnson being named at hbf.
Wagner has been dropped (he was playing hbf), NOD has been brought in (presumably to fill Johnson's bit role on the wing).
My senses tell me there's a role change for Johnson at least until Chapman comes back from his latest hammy injury.
At $155K he's an expensive rookie but could be worth a shot for those brave enough.

Definitely some truth to this if you look at his heatmap, still think they should run him through the MIDs. Still wouldn't pay 155k this time of year though

JL in the post match presser was filthy on their exits from defence last week, def looking to make a change. MJ a better user than Wagner so may get some action if he is HB, plus I'd expect Ryan and co to be looking at some more aggressive kicks to shorter targets rather than bombing down the line

He's playing as a forward for Freo. Not getting a lot of the goal. Relying on goals.

If I needed a 2nd downgrade option, it would be between Sturt and Cincotta. I think I'd lean towards Sturt, just to get the money coming, but if the Lions smash Freo at the Gabba (as we all expect), Sturt could score 30.

I reckon he hangs around for a while.
Tabs gone for a long time, no sign of Fyfe, Sturt deserves a decent crack.
He has a a red hot go when he gets the chance.
I‘m just hoping on a 4 goal spike game along the way.
As Stevebb said, like any fwd, there might be some 30s along the way.
Wouldn’t play him onfield without looping.

The sub rule is killing supercoach. Will see how this year plays out but might not be back. I'm not doing to badly either. It just sucks the fun out of it.

If the coaches get their way they will name a 5 man bench and with sub just prior to the game which will be even worse.
