Its only 2 trades if you're trading him out for a player who you otherwise wouldn't be getting.

eg If your goal is to have Oliver and Libba in your completed team, you already have Oliver and don't have Libba, and you're trading Oliver to Libba now, you're just losing one trade, because it still would have cost you 1 trade to get Libba.
That's true, I have pointed that out to others in the past and fell into it myself this time 👍👍

Every SC content creator i ve watched this week suggest dont trade Clarry unless you are top 1000. All week ive neen planning on keeping him, but im actually top 1000, so i dont know WTF to do.
I'm nowhere near top 1000 but I'm trying to avoid relegation in two leagues so need to get some wins. If I trade Clarry I will get a useful advantage the next two or three rounds, including Round 14 if I get a R15 bye premo in for him

I’m confused, why does rank play into it?
surely a bad move is a bad move regardless of whether you’re 500 or 15,000.
I’d have thought the amount of trades you have, bench cover, if it enables another upgrade, your ability to get him back and does it disrupt other trade plans would all be more important factors….but I’m not a content creator.

Would it be worth bringing in Bailey Humphrey for just one round, could be a net difference of 80k
As in you would trade him out next week?

I am looking at him to possibly replace Hollands this week.

15 trades and 101k

At this stage looking at holding Oliver, however my current cover is pretty poor.

IF Cincotta gets back in that helps, worst case scenario I will play Weddle D6, Wilmot M8 as cover for Oliver.

Sadly Hollands recent subs have meant he probably needs to go this week.

Think there are few options
1. Hollands to Humphrey. No immediate $ but he should provide cover this week and through the byes and should make another 100k easily.
2. Hollands to Wardlaw - pocket 90k. Risk is Wardlaw not on bubble.
3. Hollands to Fleeton - pocket 160k. JS should be okay short term given GWS injuries, scoring not great. Probably only an option if Cincotta is named as I probably don't want him on field?

I've had Ridley since the start of the season and I have no idea why everyone is trading him in.

He's the one player I pray gets an 80 each game.

Just wait a couple of weeks to see if he's back to that old role.
It's strange when we get to that part of the year when people are looking at trading in keeper players that others have been trying to trade out all year

Yeah i agree really. I ll just play the best i can with the hand i m dealt.

More i think about it the more i think i should keep him. The way this season is going two or three extra trades in the last few rounds could be like gold.

Surely the nightmare scenario is Oliver plays in 2 weeks but with dramatically reduced game time and you lose points and $. With the sub rule I feel this is very possible...

I m 600 behind the leader. I dont realisticslly think i have any chance of winning.

Top 100 would be nice though.
I’d probably trade him if you can find a trade to catapult you through the byes. Top 1000 this time of year is very good, go for it.

Two weeks time they play on a Friday night so worst case you could at least loop him if he’s back then. Week after is queens birthday and then you are stuck with the score on the Monday.

What to do with piggy. Help fellas

can’t see the full side but with that bank if you can go one down, one up elsewhere and still have bench cover for Oliver then that’s your play.
It improves your team and gives you another week to asses the Piggy situation.

Not a Piggy owner fwiw

BUT if I had him I’d be holding. Any guy you bring in that isn’t named Bont is going to have a hard time replicating his point scoring on the way home. 125 x 10 is 1250 points. Sub in a rookie for 4 games at 60 a game gets you to 1490/14.

With 18 guys playing after this week til end of rd 15, the loss of him wouldn’t be as exacerbated as it would in normal scoring rounds.

Realistically, you’d need a guy to average 109+ over that time (including the bye) for the trade to be more than dead even, and the trade saved will be gold on the way home.

If somehow you get lucky with zero injury carnage and jump on a guy who goes 115+ on the way home then I can see it as a net win but Clarry will be huge on the run home - plus with all the grey area surrounding the actual outcome of the injury, there’s every chance he’s back sooner. A clearer timetable makes it easier, but I just don’t see a way where it helps your team unless you strike out on the points made above

He's going to be very cheap. The worry is Sydney putting players on ice near the end of the year.
Doesn’t that contravene the AFL 3 strikes policy though?

Wait wut?

To me it seems Ridleys floor is 80, so most weeks your prayers have been answered.

Sort of like my current D6, Liam Stocker, whom I want to sideways to Ridley. His floor is around 60 though, which is all I could ever ask from a 200k rookie.

However, Ridley @ 400k is a different story to the premo you started with @ 500k. At this price, I'm not expecting tons every game, however an 85 minimum will do just fine.

If you take out his R8 injury score, hes averaging over 90, and at $415k, that is pretty hard to pass up.
Please don’t make a compelling case for Shitley.

I started the campaigner and booted him to Lord Naicos after 2 rounds.
