I’ve always wondered why they don’t have someone stand the mark when they practice goal kicking.

Seems like it’d be sensible to try and replicate a genuine set-shot.

should get opposition fans on the mark for each teams practice, heckling them

great fan involvement

Yeah I personally reckon the subs impact has largely been fairly minimal, particularly if they’ve come on later.

A few years ago with 3 on the bench and the 4th was sub they seemed to have more impact as there was more fatigue.

Now with 4+1 not as many players are fatigued to the same level.

ours is minimal as we choose worse than the german chick choosing the grail in Indiana Jones

Crikey, tiger debutant via Swans academy. I'm sure you're all across it, but I just heard on the telly.

disagree. Francis sub makes complete sense with Buddy under an injury cloud
If Buddy was under any kind of cloud he surely wouldn't be playing.

But I guess this is a way of rewarding Francis who really hadn't done much wrong over recent weeks. He's made way for a better player, but they've not dropped him.

Good pre-game analysis on fox, we're 17th for effective clearances which means we're just bombing it after winning the ball instead of handpassing it to the outside. Showed vision with numerous swans being free on the outside but the ball winner has just booted it forward. Hope we see less of it tonight.

Richmond coach saying they want to limit our short kicking & clog up the corridor. Our wingmen will be important & spacing in general, we might need to use some handballs to our runners rather than short kicks to generate good forward momentum.

Gulden and Campbo to have blinders

One week at a time and all that but our next few games are all the teams between us and 8th so it'll be interesting to see if we can pull it off.

But for now **** the tigers, last time I was at the mcg I was next to the tiger cheer squad in 2016. Go get em

Then dont pick buddy

Francis is slow and only useful as an early tall sub,

Pick a pacey player to inject run and dont overthink it
