He was 4th in our B&F in 2018 though...Does Bryce Gibbs count. He helped ensure our scoring stayed at a minimum.
Thats more of an indictment of the year that the rest of the Crows players had.He was 4th in our B&F in 2018 though...
Pretty good in a pretty bad year.
Geebuzz
He’s got a wingspan of 204cm, so the fact that he’s undersized is actually a major strength compared to most key forwards, because it means he’s a lot more agile and has a lower centre of gravity. His huge wingspan obviously means he’s got a great reach and still has all the good parts of key forwards - it’s why his contested marking is so impressive and such a big part of his game.YEP ! ......Nate Caddy
Watched him again the other day, his speed off the mark doesn't look good ....to me, as a FWD you need that initial speed, remembering he's only 192cm
Looked good in close, which underlines his good agility ....but a shortish fwd, with slow first 5 mtrs, hasn't impressed me
He started that year wellHe was 4th in our B&F in 2018 though...

He started that year well
My take on Gibbs was he wasn’t here for the right reasons and heart was never in the club so as soon as it became apparent he wasn’t going to jag a late career flag he never had the right mindset/desire to be motivated in the way needed to deliver his best.
I reckon if the club had have continued on a positive path he would have been great
Still, he played really well for us a year after we were in the Granny.Thats more of an indictment of the year that the rest of the Crows players had.
Well, there was that infamous CM simmering underneath and then imploded. Gibbs was leading our B&F count half way through 2018 when both Crouch and Sloane were injured and then we all know what happened to the entire playing and coaching group afterwards.......He started that year well

Why is it always the Clubs fault and not the player? Why is it always something wrong with the player, never our fault?
Not saying it is.Why is it always something wrong with the player, never our fault?
Yep that’s what I’m referring to and from that his form/desire dropped awayWell, there was that infamous CM simmering underneath and then imploded. Here's a question for you .....whose fault is it with regard to Oliver's indiscretionsWhy is it always something wrong with the player, never our fault?
Here's a question for you .....whose fault is it with regard to Oliver's indiscretions
And no, I won't accept the Crows as an answer
I don't think you can separate incidents ....they need to be looked at as a pattern of behaviour ....in-season, as well as out of seasonWhich ones? Be more specific
Ooooh
Both. The clubs coach sets the tone. The club recruited a known bad influence into the club. The player is obviously loose but that’s the type of player that needs a strong club. Here's a question for you .....whose fault is it with regard to Oliver's indiscretions
And no, I won't accept the Crows as an answer
I'd be careful of labelling the Stengle / Geelong situation too early .....had an ordinary 2nd yearLook at Stengle at Adelaide v Geelong, one club got the best out of him and turned him into a premiership player, the other couldn’t be that club.
I don't think you can separate incidents ....they need to be looked at as a pattern of behaviour ....in-season, as well as out of season
I can identify them .....haven't you kept abreast of Oliver's indiscretions ....I thought you were over everythingYou want to attribute blame for incidents so vague you can’t identify them ?
