Interesting to hear Nathan Brown on one of his stupid gambling ads tell me that the demons have beaten the blues the last 9 times that they've played.

Almost as good as last week when he recommended that we back zac fisher to have over 25 touches after the teams had been announced and Zac had been omitted.

Spare me.

He's a mouthpiece for the betting company - he's not trying to give you good advice, he's trying to con you into a bet that sounds good based on one singular metric, but is statistically unlikely based on a bunch of other metrics that they won't mention.

Agree fully. However itsas more in this case that he'd forgotten that we recently beat Melbourne and that Fisher wasn't playing.

Unfortunately I am on my way to work instead of the airport like last week 😞
Am nervous but excited.
Going to watch at a pub with bestie and a huge screen with a heap of the SA Blues supporter group.
I am so proud of my team either way. I think we can win but it is not going to be easy.
Cheer loud those going to the match.
Go Blues.
Hopefully we have a comfortable win crowd wise too. (assume by a far way too)

The conditions for the drive down to Melbourne are a bit more favourable than last Friday. Good luck to all blues fans whether you are at the ground or cheering somewhere else.

Two things that you need to know;

We have a team that it's supporters can be proud of. They won't take a backward step or let you down.

We are now very much relevant in the A.F.L. No more poor timeslots or being kicked around.

Onwards and upwards blues. What a redemption story it would be for Vossy to be taking a team to Brisbane for the right to be playing in a grand final.

Agree with the style of game, I think what matters most is what happens post clearance.

I don’t like David King much but I like his saying “don’t get beaten by what you know.” Their one wood is to defend and intercept down the line. They always play a loose back. Their plan is to out number behind the ball, intercept then take off. They bet that more times than not it creates wins.

We have to take the ball off the line and create mayhem. Martin is a massive loss in that regard unfortunately. He can both be a target on the 45 or the guy kicking it. I think Kennedy and Curnow can be that target on the 45. Owies etc too.

I just hope we stay brave when it matters.
I agree with taking the ball off the line, but suspect it will be straight line run and carry if we get the +1, then looking to come inboard at CHF

Yes remain brave, but remain brutal first and foremost

Take the top 4-6 out of the Dees and they are bog ordinary.

Say Gawn, Oliver, Petracca, Lever, May, Viney/Pickett.

We bat way deeper. From the FB line.

Weiters, Saad, Newman, Guv, Acres (on current output), Cripps, Cerra, Walsh, Charlie (Martin and Harry too normally).

All would walk into most AFL teams.

And our 2nd tier/3rd tier guys are all doing their bit too eg Cotters last week.

Ours is the better team - comfortably - we just need to take care of business.
If our top 6 match theirs - we win.

Been said but Brayshaw out is massive....... Our midfield will bat deeper.

Langdon not the damaging player he was so I think our wings with Acres, Cotters and Doc rotating also have an edge.

Kosi the x factor and we will have to be all over him like a cheap suit.

Gawn is a champion and we can only hope our two-man set up wears him down and limits his influence.
TDK around the ground will have to compete in the air with him and try to push forward running off him.
Pitto to simply harass and bullock.

Charlie ready to explode? I think the pressure of being the No.1 man particularly in the media last few weeks has not helped Charlie boy. He is a shy bloke.

The spotlight has not been on him this week thanks to Maynard and I have a feeling tonight he has a very big one.

Walsh and Cripps going head-to-head with Trac and Oliver will be huge and will go a long way to deciding the outcome.

Four cannons (very big guns :thumbsu:)

BLUES by a GOAL !
