Given clubs are offering 5 year deals to McKay our musings are nothing compared to whats actually happening.

A few clubs destined to be doing the walk of shame next season.

I think that's a tough call on TylerD in particular.......you can read from his thoughts over the years the poster absolutely bleeds for the Club and lives the ups and downs with every swing. Doesn't live in the despair and always looks for the road out to better days.

It wasn't a dig at TylerD at all. One of the best around here without any doubt. He's a legend.

It was more that we often walk away from players yet it's reported that we have missed them.

Averaged 14.3 disposals, 6.5 marks and 1.0 goals a game in his 11 games for Wet Toast this year.

Pretty good numbers TBH, would be good as a mobile second tall to help Lewis out.

He’s a better version of Kozi and wouldn’t cost much probably about the pick we would bet for Kozi so why not do that merry go round.
Hawks get 38 and waterman
Eagles get brockman and 44
Tigers get Kozi

That'll be interesting. North have 16, 39 & 53. Even if they get their compo pick they wont pay a top-5 pick for Stephens and I'm sure Swans would ask for more than 16. They've got pick 11 but they'd be desperate to get into the top 10.

More than 16? He was Pick 5 four years ago and shown nothing. Pick in the 30's is the best they could hope for,

I only saw I'm play a couple of times this season and by memory he was the sub when they played us. Even if he could come in and only play 10-15 steady games as a stop gap next season it would be awesome. If you believe the North board he's going there so who knows.

It seems pretty unlikely. No real noise about it, and giants adamant they can fit him in. It’s only 1 year to go so even if they offloaded him, the talk was more for a second rounder.

Just get used to the same FPP issue at both ends this coming year. We cannot delist the players we wanted to delist or trade.

He's so not worth that kind of money. Don't worry Tops, we will get our FA when the time is right and we are not quite there yet.

Yeah sorry I posted a list of Essington recruiting coups in relation to your suggestion the Dodo was ok. It was obviously no reflection on you as you are one of my all time favourites on here. So I hope you didn't take it the wrong way.

If either of these are a possibility we simply have to make them our priorities.
I'd rather spend money on Haynes than McKay, and I actually think Haynes would improve us more than McKay while coming with a first round pick.

Once you buy a spud, you're stuck with him.
Better to wait for the right player.

No idea what implications, if any, his IBD has on him/his training etc but am sure the club medicos will be able to weigh it up.
Sounds like there was some discontent between the family and the club re. potentially rushing him back due to their injury list.

Its a thing. Been in the background a while with a few clubs approached . May not necessarily be Haynes either if it happens.
Nothing will progress for now as they have finals and feel a real chance to take it all out

Its even worse if our offer pushed another club's offer higher so the Roos do end up getting pick 3. Then we shot ourselves in the foot for nothing.

KPD take time to develop so, yes, recency bias is coming into play considering he’s played most of the games outside the odd injury and suspension the past 3 years.
