I think blanck does have some upside. Whether it’s realised is another thing. Has some good traits. This is laughable
At 22 yrs / 20 games, he's already a competent stopper. Doesn't get much of it but his job is to stop goals, not rack up possessions.I think blanck does have some upside. Whether it’s realised is another thing. Has some good traits.
Would we entertain a pick slide? Eg get picks in before McCabe and a F1? Would have to be very attractive.Dogs desperate for pick 4 to take Wizard.
I accept what you are saying but you miss my point and that is STRUCTURE. Also, we are not winning blokes over. I don’t know why others cannot see it. When we miss on others next year my pleas may start to resonate.
It has nothing to do with pessimism. I sincerely hope and trust I am wrong.
If you miss a trade target you dont push the panic button and just get anyone for the sake of it.
Mckay is a nice to have but not a necessity and the price just got crazy .
I like what we are doing . Clear trade targets to improve the team that are available this year, but making plays at getting decent picks in too .
Plenty of thinking ahead for next year.
There is a lot to play out and people shouldn't react on one move that didnt go our way right now .
Tracking at D+ at the minute
A lot of effort for no reward at the moment. Very disappointing. On both fronts.
I agree with THOS on this one.Its Ben Mckay, not Stephen Silvagni. The guys biggest asset is his size .
Lets be honest landing him would have been for now , but may very well impact us to land a genuine A grader rather than I hope this guy turns out ok for us .
Geez the sky isn’t fallingAnd of course they will succeed. If we cannot defend our position in the Draft we are indeed poor! Let’s see what happens.
Structure. How does one defend their position in the draft?
Put your Premiership cups out for the draft positions. How does one defend their position in the draft?
I think the depth of this draft post the first several picks probably eliminates entertaining that option.Would we entertain a pick slide? Eg get picks in before McCabe and a F1? Would have to be very attractive.
Have been bullish on Jacob Blight all year. Would be a great get. 195cm and 95 kg. Attacks the contest hard aswell. Got some mongrel in him like Sam Taylor. Got another 19 possessions and 9 marks last week in the prelim final.Agree. Remember we got Stratton as key back at the time as a mature ager. Ethan Phillips CHB in VFL team of the year and Jarrod Blight WAFL CHB team of the year. Get them both in with late picks
So would I.I know it’s not even remotely possibly, but how good is Sam Taylor. Grew up a big Hawk fan too.
Id give up @Strapping Young Lad’s left nut to somehow prise him from the Giants.
For god sake I was being sarcastic! Sorry it went over your head. What does this even mean ?

I am happy to go through the list of misses next week, it wouldn’t even get me out of bed with the types compared to our position for a flag. No point in overpaying when we aren't ready, especially for someone that is in the bottom end of performers.I accept what you are saying but you miss my point and that is STRUCTURE. Also, we are not winning blokes over. I don’t know why others cannot see it. When we miss on others next year my pleas may start to resonate.

Thank you.Can someone give Tops a hug please.
Let’s change the subject. I know this is the wrong Thread, but gee Coleman has been very good tonight.
