That's kind of a bummer, Victory vs Hellas would've been outrageous fun, and might've even given some meaning to the "Australia Cup", for a period at least.

Almost would have been better off having it played at 7pm on Saturday night to capture some of the GF after party crowd.

Yeah I think it would be to busy logistically for people coming into the City for a Saturday Grand Final night match. Its not like people just go home after the Grand Final the City is far to busy as it is on Grand Final night with celebrations and people just hanging around the City. Would have been interesting through.

Yep 5pm would have been perfect, I’m guessing it was the Broadcasters that wanted the 7pm timeslot.
