Port with the clear win in my opinion. Eagles a close second.
Can't have any complaints about the drafting, and I think in the final washup the trade involving Pick 3 has panned out alright.

Murphy Reid the stand out in this draft, will be starting for freo next year- leaps and bounds ahead of Erasmus, M.Johnson, O’meara in the mid rotation. Unique vision and poise. Eagles also had a great draft. The North trade is criminal.
Erasmus starts at most AFL clubs he is AFL level for sure in my mind.
Obvious question, but tigers supporters happy with their selections? Think you chose some rippers. Interested in the strategy too, lots of talls. A reverse-kanga, if you will

interesting. why do you day Port? Horrendous ball user and decision maker in Moraes and a Matt Taberner clone? Berry is nice though.

Played numbers game on the talls. Would be hoping Sims makes it along with 1 of the other 2 forwards. Trainor worth the punt to play 3rd tall with Balta & Gibcus. Seems an absolute ripper of a bloke and culture builder.
I'd expect our pick & your pick next year will be mids to round out that area with Lalor & Smillie.

I'm not sure about Richmond's strategy. A lot of those players seem quite high risk, and I think the failure rate might be pretty high for a side who needs to rebuild everywhere.
Yeah I like what ya did with Trainor and Hotton......both potential top 5 players IMO. The talls, you are pretty stacked I reckon....Armstrong a ridic good get, plus the insurance of the other 2. A win.

As a Port fan, I agree. I don't think Moraes is a bad ball user, more a bad decision maker. Jack Whitlock is inbetween Taberner and Hipwood and I rate neither of them. Berry is a good pick up but we needed Reid or Shanahan more. Now we are still left with some holes on the list.

You guys salvaged the draft on night 2 as no knock on berry but another small forward didn't seem like the right fit with all the small forwards on your list already. From a crows perspective we are glad you took him and not Reid as i rate Reid highly and he would have helped your side stuturally to free Rozee up as a half forward. But Whitlock may be a longer term answer to the tall forward hole once he fills out and get moraes straight down to Tredrea to teach him how to kick well and he to me was a steal where you got him.

Seems like we know our lists better than our respective list managers, I will gladly trade Reid for Berry today, not sure how you get pick 45 back off WC though.

I think that was more to do with the players available at our late 1st round picks then any concerted effort to pick talls though
If two of them do come good though it does make the rest of the rebuild a hell of a lot easier

I don't agree.
I base my assessment on whether I'd pick those players or not. I have no complaints with either of those teams selections.
You say Taberner clone like it's a bad thing. He had a horrendous run with injuries over his career, but when relatively fit and stringing games together over 2020-2022 he averaged a bit over 5 marks and 2 goals a game.

he was certainly spoken about as the best key defender in the draft at one stage.
