Shouldn't he be getting ready for the U17s All Stars game on Saturday? Surprising to hear he's in Brisbane right now.
What better way to develop as a player then join a Grand Final bound Lions in their preparation and immerse himself in the atmosphere. When/if his turn comes it will not be totally unfamiliar.

How compromised is the 2024 draft expected to be at this early stage?
Brisbane - Levi Ashcroft F/S & Sam Marshall Academy
Gold Coast - Leonardo Lombard Academy
Sydney - Joe Harrison Academy
Adelaide - Tyler Welsh F/S
Carlton - Lucas and Ben Camporeale F/S’s
Port Adelaide - Louie Montgomery F/S

There’s a few more academy and F/S’s that could rise

If you’re looking at the U17 Futures team lists, wasn’t there a Burgoyne who would be father son eligible, and 3 Swans academy boys?

Yeah I just wrote down the ones that are around top 30 mark.
Rome Burgoyne but he's missed a lot of the year through injury hopefully has a good year next year.
Joel Cochran and Mitchell Woods could rise.

where did Harley Reid end up?

Jobe Shanahan was very impressive for NSW, he is such an impressive kpp, Tobie has been great for Bendigo and ok at Vic Country, Archer Day-Wicks same, Tom Evans i have not seen him play rep footy, but he has been great for Bendigo.

Harley wasn't in the top 5, but I think he only ended up playing 5 games (with a further game he limped off at the start of the 2nd quarter), and as a player can get a maximum of 15 votes in a game it's not a surprise that he didn't poll that well (even if he'd got the maximum votes in all games that he played uninjured he would've only come 4th overall). He was leading the count prior to the 2nd Academy game when he sustained the head injury.

Evans is one to watch out for. He plays a bit like Butters and can hit the scoreboard. Probably needs a couple more centimetres of growth though.
There's also another kid, Shaun Watson, who came into the team in the latter rounds and played well as a key forward.
If he can fill out and they have a good run with injuries next year the Pioneers could do really well.

Just thinking.
As well as chatting about the prospects, what about a weekly injury update on potential draft candidates?

Helps to clarify things and washes away any confusion as to why this player hasn't played.

Start it next year.

Shaun Watson is flying under the radar...although 2025 Draft eligible. He is 194cm and about 90kg as a 16yo. Played u15 Vic schoolboys in 2022 and Vic Country u16 in 2023. he played the last 3-4 games with Bendigo this year in the 18s and was more than handy as a KPD and KPF, the word on the grapevine (pun for his home town Mildura)is that he can also play as a mid.

He also has the genetics, his mum is the sister of Robbie and Chris Tarrant.

There you go. His brother (at least I assume, based on appearance) is RJ Watson who played through the centre this year for the Pioneers. He was good and clean, just didn't touch the ball enough to have a substantial impact on most games. Otherwise there was a lot to like about his game.

RJ Watson on the left Shaun Watson on the right.

Correct...brothers, RJ being the little older brother. His football will go to another level when out of the density restricted Coates league.

Anyone know the combine results and full order of where they came?

Struggling to find anything other than the top efforts or first place getters for each boy in a catergory.
