Can nominate them, don't have to take them, I'd say they're just not at the standard to be even a consideration, but maybe they'll look to rookie list one or two of them potentially

Rome particularly had decent wraps on him is his underage year, obviously hasn't come on though

why Draper?
He's a gun. Plays round 1 for any of the teams that pick him in the pointy end of the draft. Some rate him ahead of the Vic kids.

I just don't think he's a great fit with the north midfield. I do love the FOS fit though.
TBH I think Jagga components them best, he's 'slippery' - but he probably complements Richmond's mids best too (even through they seem linked to Lalor at pick 1)

You can see why - he just looks like an outstanding talent. The assumption was that Carlton went to 3 to get FOS, and I get FOS had a very good underage year. I’d be taking Draper over FOS every time based on what they respectively put on the park in 2024.
He certainly looks an unreal talent. Touch of the Wardlaw's for me.....just hunts the footy. But then gets on his bike and goes again and again.

It’s true FOS’s versatility would be great and allows him to fit in on any line.

Probably starts off at half back.

But Draper, despite lack of versatility would be a great fit for our midfield due to

  • defensive edge at cb
  • power out of stoppage
  • run and carry

Sheezel will play more and more forward as we improve

Mckercher more suited to outside run imo

So you’re left with

Ldu
Wardlaw
Powell
