Put up 30 goals/18 GA at 14.1 disp and ok defense this year. Rachele quietly developed into a very solid small forward.

Just needs Adelaide as a whole to get better, and maybe Rankine moving away from the forward line (but still in the side) just to throw a bit more supply his way to get to the next level.
I wasn't doing it to have a go (sorry if it seems like baiting) but just more of a Rachele was a top 10 pick and thinking of damage output for his range. But hopefully he goes to the next level for you guys as he is has shown it.

Sickens me that Richmond have such good draft picks so soon after a golden era
That's what happens when you finish last and then trade out your most valuable assets. The ones feeling sick will be the Tigers fans when they are having a potentially winless season next year. Bottom out rebuilds are not the fun they seem. Trust me on this.

Smart by them though. Fill their boots now before Tassie comes in. Should be well placed in 3-4 years. Fair bit of pain till then.

Taking my Eagles hat off, Richmond have done exactly what any team with recent success and the insight to see they are at 1AM on the premiership clock should have done which is to cash in all their players of value and hit the draft.

At times some (not all) of their posters have been insufferable and I want to be pissed at their draft hand but you know what Hartley and the team have squeezed maximum value out of every trade and put themselves in prime position to get back up the ladder.

Vale Chris Toce and a nice touch by Richmond to let his son input Sam Lalor’s details into the system at pick #1. The 2024 draftees will be a wonderful legacy to leave at the club.

Nah, I didn't take it as such. I think it's quite easy to lose track of guys who aren't starring in poorly performing clubs.

Rash would probably be on par with where that pick should be 3 years in. Not destroying worlds, but doing enough to say he'll have a quality career. All about kicking on and converting that start though, because year 4-5 tend to be when the slower burns break out.

I am not sure I agree really as Richmond are going to be terrible on the field the next few years and we know from experience how young talent just does not develop right if the team they are in are getting pumped week in week out.

They will be awful for a few years yes but they still have leaders and better to get the kids in now before the compromised drafts. Hindsight will answer the question for us but I think they’ve done the right thing.

Freo the big losers here. Could be set up for the next decade but chose to cash in for a crack in the next 3 years instead😵‍💫

Will them being a very very very very very good chance of going Back2Back2Back wooden spoons ease your sickness?

For the life of me I can’t work out why that campaigner D.Barrett has not called tanking on the RFC like he did every second week this year with the Hawks.
