I hope he has better communication skills one on one.

I know a few people who do radio and it's an art form that not everyone can do. It's surprisingly difficult to ad-lib and riff off each other while sounding like you know what's going on. People that communicate well don't necessarily make good media performers.

my son does a good impression of elmo the muppet, and he ended up doing stuff for an amateur radio station.
sometimes he got a bit lost with crap the others threw up, but he usually found a way to work his way through on air.

Pretty happy that we need a coach and not a commentator.

He’s much easier to understand when you can actually see him pointing.

He’s been mentioned many times before in his role as Trainee Receptionist.

Banger can hardly string two words together in the media either. But has been rated an excellent assistant at multiple clubs.

One has no bearing on the other. Though yes some can do both.

I'm just going to say it: why are we trusting our midfield to BJ? Did he do such an amazing job as Carrol's assistant that we thought he should be handing over the keys to our midfield to him?

Ross trusts him, but I sure don't, not after what we've seen thus far.

But regardless...

You're Harvs and BJ. It's round 10 and your results suck. Whatever you planned for in preseason hasn't eventuated or hasn't worked out well. Ross is taking all the heat - so far - and your players look confused and despondent. It's too late to rip up the plan and start again, but something has to change on the training track, in the planning, with the magnets and above all during games, and it starts with you.

Should always be aiming to bring in best in class. I have no idea who the good coaches are out there but the club would. Ross made a point about how Geelong keep their champion players at the club and it’s worked for them, we even took one.

It’s hard from the outside looking in. For all we know, BJ may be a good coach but time will tell
