Who do you reckon they may be looking at
I believe the Dockers would be trying to get ahead of Eagles for Davis and Port are interested in Moraes and Dodson in that range.
I would also rather keep 25, I'd be more inclined to trade back 17 if there isn't a slider and have two picks in the 20s plus bank an extra pick next year.
I don't know the clubs willingness to a trade at this point though only that conditional offers have been made.
Basically, he's very outside. Has been criticised for a soft defensive game and average kicking skills for a player of his type. Also didn't show much development this year, went backwards relative to a few. What’s the knock on Moraes?
Sounds like he’s got the traits we need to be going after but not seeing a lot of love for him here.

Could well carve out a decent career and is a very good runner, but better options in the top 30 or so.
I don't know if that'll be the case the essendon are keen on him amongst a few others and will be trading back in so could grab the Eagles or Lions pick prior to ports after a kako bid. We are obviously also interested at 25.Moreas would still be there well into the 30s, so it’d be silly not to. And if he’s taken, win-win.

Gross is a tough nut, capable forward, great mark as well, don’t mind him in second round.
Would love to get some real competitive beasts in this draft.
We're linked with most of them!
I feel like this is one draft where the kid taken at 50 is a decent chance of being better than the kid taken at 25. Hopefully we use all 5 picks rather than just the 4.

Reminds me of Lachie HunterMoraes has massive Lochie O'Brien vibes for mine.
This year he averaged 26.4 disposals and 4.8 inside 50s across 16 games in CTLIf he's there at 35 or whatever then I'd be fine with him but I'd hate to pick up someone that didn't improve in his draft year with a top 30 pick.
His offensive game is good, defensive not so.This year he averaged 26.4 disposals and 4.8 inside 50s across 16 games in CTL
Also had a day of 27 and 5 goals. Joel Freijah style.
Top 10 2km trial. If that is a stagnating year I’d like to see what happens if he improves.
Not my favourite but not the worst, upgrade on Oskar Baker thats for sure.
His offensive game is good, defensive not so.
That is a very optimistic comparison.Christian Moraes
State: Victoria Metro
State League Club: Eastern Ranges
Community Club: Knox
Date of Birth: 08/11/2006
Height: 183cm
A running machine who is prepared to work deep into defence as well as push forward to create options for his team. Also has clean hands and is composed with the ball. Had an impressive season for the Eastern Ranges in the Coates Talent League, averaging 23.8 disposals and kicking 18 goals in 12 matches to finish joint runner up in their best and fairest award and earn Coates Talent League Team of the Year selection. Continued his high-level output by averaging 21 disposals for Victoria Metro in a star-studded midfield group, with his best performance coming against South Australia where he amassed 22 disposals and kicked two goals.
Weapon: Clean hands and power running
AFL player comparison: Noah Anderson
Thats Shifter’s opinion.
I can see him being as good as Ollie Hollands

From someone who has not followed anything regarding the draft the name Datolli sounds just perfect for a future bulldog champion. In the tradition of liberatore and bontempelli this kid will be a future Charlie Sutton winner. Mark my words. Raise your red wine and three cheers for all the Nona's out there.

Umm.....that's my point.
If anything, Datolli is even less of a crumber than Flea and is more like Fergus Greene in that he runs to find space (hence my comparison earlier).
We are interested, however if we have equal interest in another player who we view will be there at pick 29 (Maximum 4 spot slide), then we may see it beneficial given it likely sees us move 48 into 36.
