EDPS had Dattoli in the top 5 for disposal in this draft class. I think my concern is that he doesn't seem to have a clear position. Not zippy or crafty enough as a forward and perhaps a bit undersized to end up a mid. Maybe can play as a high half forward but those positions require some pretty high end running ability which I don't think he has.

He could play as a half back as well, I think he ends up as a mid though. Whilst he's not tall, he's quite nuggetty and I think he does his best work in tight. Rate his ball use and decision making under pressure.

Even if Reid gets past West Coast, he'd be prime candidate for a number of teams to trade up for him. Not to mention that St Kilda could trade pick 8 for 15 and 16, and you'd have to assume they'd take him. Let's not get our hopes too far up, we'd have to be very lucky I think.

In the ESPN mock released today that has St Kilda swapping picks with Giants it had us taking Oliver at second pick.

No intel probably but that scenario does result in St Kilda picking a few key position players that Giants probably wouldn't.

Hynes and Oliver a good result from first two picks.

I don't follow the draft or know anything about these kids, but it sounds like I need to melt if we take Dattoli and if Oliver drops he's the biggest steal since Chris Grant?
