Could we see Picks 25 and 27 used to get up higher again?

Wouldn’t mind it. There’s still going to be some very good players within that teen range. Assuming that’s what they would be worth in another trade.

And the. have a stab at some roughies with our two nose bleed picks.

What about Luke Urquhart? Seems a hard running strong unit who consitently shows up...

Probably won't be drafted until late in the draft because of his foot skills and I think Badcop mentioned he has bad hips

We have traded picks 35 and 48 for 27!

3 in the top 30 seems pretty good. We seem to be into Hynes - who I like.

Even though I prefer Richards than Dunkley we have missed him and will need to get cover more for Bont. He seems like a good fit and had some very very good junior games where he got contested possessions and kicked multiple goals - at 190 and he can move - he will be a handful.

The perfect player for us is probably someone to cover Trelor (and fits the profile of Bailey Big Hair) but none of picks around our first pick have that except Reid and most expect he will be gone. If he slips then we I’ll take him.

If not - the future of Richards, Hynes and Sanders with Bont still leading and Cooney coming in as he is waining is pretty decent. Friejah, West, Gags and Garcia as second line pretty good too. Obviously needs speed but when we got towelled up by the Hawks or previously Melb it wasn’t speed but power that beat us. So OK with the focus.

But hate that most pundits have us missing out on Oliver and Hannaford - who are both strong near term needs. Would both play next year.

Moraes seems like our target for second pick and is the outside runner we have identified as a need. Williams is OK but not fast and Poulter and Baker have limitations. Just doesn’t seem to have elite traits? If we take him - I Hope he turns out to surprise me. If not - maybe young Eagleton will be what we need?

Could end up with two of Hynes/Dattoli/Davis/Trainor/Oliver/Clarke with 25/27!

I would love to flip our F1 for Murphy Reid if possible, or even Hannaford.

I’m not fussed about the 4th pick. We get 2 really good cracks at the start of round 2 and then one swing for the fences at the bottom of the 9th! So much better than where we started coming into this draft a month ago

I'd rather not, most players that we seem keen on are in that 15-30 range so I'd rather get three shots inside 30 instead of 2 inside 20.

I asked him what her name is and he said, "Ms Lalor."

Not entirely convinced, I decide to research and discover the player expected to go pick #1 is Sam Lalor. I research further and discover he's from Bacchus Marsh.

Wow, there could be some truth in this.

I still think Hynes and Moraes are perfect list fits. Give me Oliver instead of Dattoli and I’d go to bed very very happy with those picks tomorrow night. Hynes is being massively underrated by many on here. Kid knows how to find the goals and I think he has the skills to make the jump.

His draft profile states he’s not the tallest or quickest midfielder in the draft class, we just traded Jacko and Caleb as they weren't quick or tall.
We do need to add speed and toughness in the guts.

I am trying to fall in love with Moraes, just in case, but nothing is stirring for me

Many underrate Hynes, we need to just be certain he can build a tank for playing majority mid in a few years.
