Crazy that Pickett i feel like is the most likely to move. Feel like he would be the type to jump ship back home. Trac won't because Collingwood don't have the 3 FRPs to trade for him and Oliver to Geelong doesn't seem right given they are going to grab Bazza SmithFor those curious here's where the Melb trio are linked to:
Geelong on Clayton Oliver. Collingwood on Christian Petracca. Port Adelaide on Kysaiah Pickett.
If Geelong get Oliver and Smith in the same trade period they'll be in a very good spotFor those curious here's where the Melb trio are linked to:

Not overly concerned, I feel like our 22 is as good as any list out there. The only thing which can stop us is between our players earsThat would be terrible result for us 2 major competitors getting huge boosts for 2025.
Unless Melbourne are just going to give Oliver away, I dunno how they could trade for both of them.If Geelong get Oliver and Smith in the same trade period they'll be in a very good spot

For those keeping score, Charlie McCartin played for Lorne today and Matty Lloyd played for the Swans reserves.Take it to the bank a brother of a player has been put away from all footy for the season and we will add him

Seems we don't really have much luck with first rounders...whether we draft with them or trade themVickery really didn’t show anything at all to say pick me which is a shame. Guess Hawthorn really got the last laugh with that trade nabbing Weddle
That whole draft was an absolute bust. We might keep Mitchell on for another season but overall none of the players from that year have developed the way we hopedVickery really didn’t show anything at all to say pick me which is a shame. It'd nearly comical how bad it isThat whole draft was an absolute bust. We might keep Mitchell on for another season but overall none of the players from that year have developed the way we hoped
One of the reasons I feel Dalrymple isn't as good as everyone believes. We've not had the best drafts with himIt'd nearly comical how bad it is
From Konstanty, Vickery, Mitchell, Owen, Magor and Edwards, might only be big Will who will be left in 2025.......It'd nearly comical how bad it is
It will be interesting what our strategy with the draft was. That whole draft was an absolute bust. We might keep Mitchell on for another season but overall none of the players from that year have developed the way we hoped
Tbf it was our only real stinker of a draft in a bloody long time its just was very telling this year when we didn't have any real non-KP players coming through as depth. All our depth atm is Francis, Hamling, Sheldrick and other older playersFrom Konstanty, Vickery, Mitchell, Owen, Magor and Edwards, might only be big Will who will be left in 2025.......
Did you not rate Darcy Jones, you could have had him if Rowston wasn't bid on.From Konstanty, Vickery, Mitchell, Owen, Magor and Edwards, might only be big Will who will be left in 2025.......
I think they expected Konstanty to have an immediate impact while the others they probably reckon could build into the side.It will be interesting what our strategy with the draft was.
A lot of the guys we picked were going to be longer term prospects. Konstanty, Vickery, Magor and Owens were very lightly built when we drafted them. Edwards was very physically developed but as a KPD was also going to take a few years.
Magor was a medium forward / inside mid. Never really got a fair shot at the former.I think they expected Konstanty to have an immediate impact while the others they probably reckon could build into the side.
Maybe that was part of the problem, Magor and Vickery were both brought into positions we weren't exactly lacking in depth
Have said it many, many times that we have drafted too many lightly framed players, even the successful ones.It will be interesting what our strategy with the draft was.
