Certainly looks a good player but I think will definitely be gone unless we do trade up.
I would prefer a KPF as I see that as our biggest area of weakness. Looks as if Armstrong will be long gone (maybe not if we get to 11), leaving potentially the Whitlocks, Shanahan and Faull to choose from with Berry, Dattoli, Hynes and Davis as potential small/medium forwards. No doubt the team will pick someone(s) totally different just to mess with me.

The suns have no need for yet another top 10 draft pick. Their list is full of top 10 draft picks and talented kids.
It makes way more sense for them to trade in a player like Rioli than it does to draft another top 10 pick

Were all either unwanted by their teams or we were the last chance saloon for them in regards to a team willing to take on their salary. Even hall who was a big name was practically thrown out of the saints.
I understand we operate in a different market but so do the lions and they continually bring in big name, game changing players.
Are we just not aggressive enough. It’s clear Geelong are putting work into opposition players years out in recruiting them. I’m guessing we just sit back and wait for players to approach us which inevitably doesn’t come.
