Certainly makes me more enthused.Makes sense. 4 live selections + Cochran would leave us with either a main or rookie slot left after Francis and Hamling are re rookied
It's WaterworthDid the classic dumb draft prospect mistake when evaluating a non-white player: the comparison player is also non-white.
Leo Lombard = Touk Miller
Isaac Kako = Izak Rankine
Are we to really believe Touk Miller is really the best comparison for Lombard across the entire league? Or could it be that they just happen to look more like each other so therefore it feels like they play similarly? I don't know myself, but it seems lazy to me.
I'm just happy its going to be national draft selections rather than rookies tbh. I would like 3 18 year olds Cochran plus a more experienced player to come in whether that be a 21-22 year old or 25-26 i don't care but someone that can impact from day 1Certainly makes me more enthused.
At least 4 x 18 year olds, with potential for maybe 2 new mature agers to help out / provide competition in the short term, and 5 of that 6 before the rookie draft.
Rookie list needs to go back to that !Good moves with Francis and Hamling. If someone swoops in on one of them, I wouldn't be distraught.
No idea how Kirk stays on the list, outside of nepotism.
Maybe we're going to take 1 or 2 that would otherwise get to the rookie draft, late in the ND so we don't miss out. Get in before teams with earlier rookie picks (everyone but Lions), but are tighter on senior list spots.
Mature age mid ahoy!
Hamling needs to play better. Not on the club if he's not performingJesus... uproot Hamling life from WA dont play him once/shift Logan down back for more KPD defence.
Delist him a year later(chance to re-rookie him)
Just going all in, a welcome change to our draft and list management strategyI'm just happy its going to be national draft selections rather than rookies tbh. He is performing.Hamling needs to play better. Not on the club if he's not performing
Is that meaning 4 or 5 national draft picks or more than that?
Hate to be that guy but its probably a better outcome for next year to grab Brew or another mature age than rookie list Harrison and take the chance that someone wants Francis or HamlingJust going all in, a welcome change to our draft and list management strategy
He is performing.
Just a victim of early season form/circumstance that he is performing up forward rather than in defence where we had openings.
Atleast it makes it more interesting than 19 + 22 + CochranDepends on a Cochran bid hoping it’s 4 and then a Cochran match

Reckon it'll be 3, then Cochran bid, then another live pick. Then 1 rookie.Depends on a Cochran bid hoping it’s 4 and then a Cochran match
Goals we conceded when? Not even tried as a resolution to stem the amount of goals we conceded.
Someone will say that's rumourWe were always taking 3 before Cochran just hopefully this means 4 then him
How in the blue moon does Kirk stay on our list?
We'd rather play a man down that bring Hamling in.Not even tried as a resolution to stem the amount of goals we conceded.
Kid received another rookie spot. They tend to be project players, why wouldn't you give him a second year if you believe he has improvement? We were always taking 3 before Cochran just hopefully this means 4 then him

But if our 4th comes in to early/mid 50s maybe. Just think clubs will make us pay something.
Three talls in defence is fine. Edwards, Snell and Hamling with Cochran on the wing or HBF if needed. Francis and Buller forward would be fine (swap Francis/Hamling if preferred) with the newbie as third tall. Sounds OK to me. Francis or Ladhams will spend time as an emergency. Green/Ladhams ruck/spare forward.I think Joel will likely play on a wing in the VFL to begin with while Edwards and Snell are given priority alongside Francis. He'll get some time down back intercepting, especially when Francis isn't available while travelling elsewhere as an emergency.
If we draft a KPF, Buller stays fit, or we move to 2 x KPFs in seniors, then Hamling may need to play in defence too.
Also on coaches to be less stubborn at selection. We'd rather play a man down that bring Hamling in.
Dude has been behind Francis all season for defence and the others in attack. On him to push them out
Because he didn't warrant a spot in the first placeKid received another rookie spot. They tend to be project players, why wouldn't you give him a second year if you believe he has improvement?
We're not short on talls. We've got plenty of project tallsHe has improvement? Could easily take another tall
