Ollie has definitely stepped it up the past few weeks after his very poor start to the season.

I just love his determination and ability to apply pressure and find the ball around play lately.

He’s one of a few players that has running power each time he has the ball

Well, we've never won an interstate final (0-8 in total, including 4 in Brisbane: 1996, 1999, 2009, 2023). So there's that.

But coming in to Carlton Respects this year, we were 0-8 in the orange socks, and we smashed that in style.

I take that as an omen, and I believe. Bring it on - can't wait.

Probably not 4 quarters but you'd think he could at least do a half. One of the most obviously talented Rolls Royce kinda players I've seen in a while who's only played 2 quarters at senior level.

Ability is undeniable. Hopefully his experience thus far spurs him on.

I wouldn’t pick Cerra even if he was fully fit. Can’t trust him to get through four quarters.

Same with Martin times 1000. Absolutely no way.

Every week I get less convinced that Boyd is in our best team. Not for me.

TDK needs to be 100% right, had more than a soft tissue injury. I’m doubtful.

The rest are automatic inclusions.

So we’re undefeated at the Gabba this year and have fresh big bodies returning.
Week 2 is tricky in Sydney but manageable.
Week 3 we either undefeated at Adelaide oval this year or at the G.

Sounds straight forward enough to me.

In Harry, Charlie, Gov and Williams
Out Motlop, Binns, Durdin and Carrol.

Like the thought of Williams and Orazio ball use into the 50. Just worry those outs may undo our forward 50 pressure.

Yes, Doc is a risk. But our backline needs further direction and leadership. It looks very lost. Weitering doesn't communicate all that well right now.
Even if Doc plays a half and is subbed out, it is something.

I've been told by someone who should definitely know but I agree it would be a massive risk playing him with zero game time since Rd 1.

If Gov, TDK, Charlie and Harry are100% fit they will give us a big chance.
Durdin needs to get his shoulder right before he plays again. Moir in for Motlop. Pitto is a good ruck but doesn't impose himself in marking contests. Plenty mids in the queue ahead of Carroll.
Kemp to play as 3rd tall forward.
Lord and Binns have shown enough.
Some outs will be unlucky.
