Disappointed that Lord misses out, I think he’s been the most impressive youngster but it tells me Kennedy will play significant midfield minutes and Kemp forward.

This is spin.

The kids came in and beat west coast, it was great.

7 days later west coast were 100 points down at half time. They had thoroughly checked out.

We pushed the saints, who started the game in 14th. The challenges of facing a 5th placed brisbane, in a final, interstate, are magnitudes more significant.

It doesn’t send a shocking message to the group at all. Those kids came in and did their job. They would have been well aware that this was almost certainly the outcome of selection.

Opposition aside, did we not look more fluid, ferocious, desperate & unpredictable?

Re: the saints game, we had no right to be in that game given the team we fielded, we shouldn’t have got within 6 goals but the group out there that day gave it their everything and almost pinched it - which is more than what I can for a lot of the blokes in our back end of the year.

No way I expected them all to stay in, but I maintain to drop all of them is not a good message & we’d be better off keeping some of that tenacity and unpredictability in the side, especially for a final. Richmond debuted a bloke in a GF ffs!

If it were me I’d left Moir as sub & Lord in for Cerra.

Anyway, said my piece and no point going on about it. In the end we all hope I’m wrong and you’re right, so let’s cross our fingers.

I feel like we have the worst MC in the league.
Who is in it?
And is everyone wondering what the hec DQ does at our club? PM's most welcome!😛😄

Dude we all get your disappointment, but on every page is just a tad tiring, OUR team has a final to win, get on board or toddle off.....
discuss the point no need to be a jerk with the toddle off comment

I’m on board and will be watching and barracking for our boys regardless …

Shut down Zorko
I can see it, and it may still happen with a late out, but you've got Hollands, Kemp and Durdin as options for defensive forwards.

Durdin is the only one I'm shaky on for a defensive forward role, though I probably would have him as first choice for dealing with Zorko.

Isn’t this the behaviour that brought about his downfall at Brisbane and what people have been calling out all year?

Constantly picking the same players regardless of injury, form or fitness all year is why we are where we are.

It just doesn’t seem like Voss adapts or learns from his mistakes.
If this goes pair shaped it's fair and squarely on the player/s they can tell you if they are good to go or not.
Blaming the MC or coach for selecting the best team trying to win...couldn't do it...it's their job.

Two rucks makes us too tall - should've been either TDK or Pitto but not both - and robs us of extra run. And one thing we will need plenty of on Saturday is run.
The backline & forward line is well balanced - tall/small.

TDK forward, if it plays out that way, will feed the smalls & he might even clunk a few.

If TDK is sub, even better, kemp moved forward with Big H, surrounded by smalls - Dynamic.

I love the idea of using the sun to bring a fresh TDK on to jump all over their ruck. We can control the changeover tactically if the game gets away from us early in the centre.

Cinc is the interesting one for me - defensively strong, his omission indicates a philosophical shift to attacking the game.

The must feel very confident they can take them on head to head.

Love that also quite frankly.

Cerra, Fantasia, Williams, Saad & Newman all great users inside 50 who lower their eyes.

👯-shaped
🍐-shaped
One is more attractive imo.

Side picked it to win it, rather than saving it

Bold, but I like it

Agree other than Cincotta. Thought he could play a big role again defensively like he did she. We were redhot.

Those arguing form of the kids against those coming back into the side are surely fooling themselves. Had we smashed the Saints I'd have agreed but we lost.

Cincotta for Motlop with Motlop maybe playing the sub role was the move.

Will be disappointed if Fantasia is the sub given his all game work ethic.
