Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
I generally think no team would ever select a guy at pick 1 they know will get matched.
It stiffs the guy they end up taking at 2 of that NAB money, detracts from the otherwise good PR for the club and is a bit of a downer to start the relationship, ie you were our second choice so much so we selected a guy we knew would be bid on.
WA undersized athletic ruck who looks to transition into a key defender. West Coast supporters are high on him at their second round pick.I always go looking for combine results from time to time, so here's the link. hope others find it useful.
Dont know anything about Zane Zakostelsky, but combine results look pretty strong for a 196cm tall.

A second van Rooyen could enter the AFL by this time next month.
At least that’s the hope of Sam, brother of Melbourne forward Jacob, who isn’t assured of being taken on draft night.
But an impressive draft combine and some late season form for Claremont Colts as they claimed the premiership has held him in good stead.
Van Rooyen says he’s spoken to Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, GWS, St Kilda, Carlton and more, with his chances of joining his brother in a different time zone growing.
Plays golf off 4 or 5.The star 2024 father-son prospect that can talk the talk and walk the walk
“He doesn't mind a bit of trash talk out there.”www.sen.com.au
What does that mean for the non golf aficionados out here?Plays golf off 4 or 5.
These kids really annoy me.
It means he’s probably good at every sport he plays. What does that mean for the non golf aficionados out here?
I think it means his standard round of golf is about 4 or 5 shots over par. What does that mean for the non golf aficionados out here?
So if par (the average expected?) is say 75 ... he would be hitting 79 to 80? What do you need to make a living from it (ie what do the pros shoot typically).I think it means his standard round of golf is about 4 or 5 shots over par.
Pros have a handicap of zero.So if par (the average expected?) is say 75 ... he would be hitting 79 to 80? What do you need to make a living from it (ie what do the pros shoot typically).
From what I hear when they give golf updates on the news etc, I guess the guys who win all the titles average 2 or 3 under par each round. So if par (the average expected?) is say 75 ... he would be hitting 79 to 80? What do you need to make a living from it (ie what do the pros shoot typically).
Most courses have a par of 70-72, so if he plays to his handicap it's around the 76 mark. Thats good golf by any standard really. But is he far off being a pro? Well, the short answer is yes. Quite a long way really. So if par (the average expected?) is say 75 ... he would be hitting 79 to 80? What do you need to make a living from it (ie what do the pros shoot typically).

Most of the guys earning a living as a tour Pro were playing off scratch (0) or better by their early to mid-teens, winning club championships, state and national amateur titles etc... There are some exceptions, with guys taking up the game later. I read somewhere that at any point in time there are around 5000 kids playing off scratch by age 15 around the world. The reality is, though, for all those young guys playing off scratch by 5, very, very few will go on to have a successful career as a tour pro.

I’d be happy with any one of the following at our first pick;I hope Joel Freijah makes it to our first pick. I would choose him over any tall available there. Talent over need is my mantra. Though he can be needy for us. Plus it will be good to see another Horsham boy on our list
I’d be happy with any one of the following at our first pick;
Cooper Simpson. Midfield/Wing/Forward.
Phoenix Gothard. Small Forward.
Joel Freijah. Wing.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Freijah made it to our second pick.At least one will be there.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Freijah made it to our second pick.
There’s a lot of half backs and small forwards available around our first and second pick, and a couple of third tall forward types (that all lack speed and/or athleticism).
