I am genuinely surprised at the rate of ticket sales. Surely they must have allocated too many to the Hawks and they will all come back online when the public tix come on sale?

Supporters are allowed to go watch a final you know, it's not an unusual thing to want to do as home final opportunities don't come around all the time. Each to their own but criticizing those wanting to go is pathetic, i don't blame anyone for not wanting to attend as i had that opinion directly after Thursdays loss but have changed my mind. Who gives a shit, get over yourselves.

Dont believe it, they'd be holding back hoping fomo will get people to buy.
Last week was meant to be sold out, my mate walked up to the ticket window 2hrs before the bounce and secured 3 tickets 6 rows back from the fence in the bay next to the cheer squad at the southern end.

Not going to the game but if we are getting smashed at 3/4 time I am thinking about turning up and walking into the ground with 10 mins to go to pay my farewell to Donuts.

It will be healing to finally let out 6 years of pent up rage on that campaigner.

Got my tickets……flight QR915 Adelaide to Doha……
My connecting flight to Dubai lands about 2 hours before the bounce.

Thought about extending my trip but probably better I see my wife for a few days before my next work trip.

Would love to have gone again, hopefully won’t be another 11 years before I see another live match.

Pretty much think that a lot of members took up the 4 seats per bar code offer but may struggle to fill those seats on match day as the non committed fans will pull out at the last moment.

Go your hardest mate, do whats right for you.
All I'll say is youre right, home finals dont come around all the time and neither do opportunities to take a stand against mediocrity, which is what Ken has dished up consistently as recently as 4 days ago.

I hope the boys win, but if they dont I hope 50k ticket sales off the back of last Thursdays effort is enough for Kochie to keep the faith in Ken for another year, it'll be well deserved.

I don't think not turning up will make any difference at all. Ken isn't surviving a loss whether there are 52k there or 32k.

I guess if it makes you feel better than fine, but it's not going to make any difference to anything.

If the club were serious they would have held out on extending his contract until after the finals last year but they werent.
Since then 100k people have paid to watch the finals trainwreck roll on and it looks like it'll be another 50k.
What makes you so sure they'll pay him out when the fans keep rolling in anyway.

And if they do cut ties, wheres the incentive to get the best replacement when mediocrity is accepted.

you know when we flog Hawthorn you are going to regret that decision right? This is what I am telling myself anyway.
Why? I don't want us to flog Hawthorn. I want us to sack Hinkley.

The only way I'll regret not going is if they hand out rotten tomatoes to pelt Hinkley with after we lose and I miss out.

You poor bastard. 11 long years and they dish that up. If David Koch had any decency he would personally refund you the full cost of the trip

I've never criticized anyone for choosing not to go to games, renew memberships etc. It's their choice, and I can understand why they do it. At the same time, I'm a bit over the assumption that if you choose to attend or keep your membership, then you must be a "happy clapper" and it's your fault we're in this situation. We all have our own reasons for our decisions, and they don't make us any less of a supporter.

Hang on I got seats in bay 541 are you telling me it’s full of Hawthorn supporters?

It might be half and half.

Top 1/2 port, bottom 1/2 hawks or other way round. as 1/2 the 500 bays are one category and other half of the bay is another category.

Then you only have yourself to blame.

So I received no email about buying tickets for the final and no link through the Port Adelaide App?

This must be the most amateur club in the AFL
Do you get several emails a week about injuries, selection and other usual crap?

If you don't, then the box about emails in your member profile isn't ticked. If you do, then there is a software **** up.
