Was never going to be anything other than those changes.

It means the changes from last time we played Sydney are Houston/Farrell out and Burton/Sinn in. So essentially it's the same team but with a couple of half back flankers downgraded quite significantly.

Why persist with Charlie for?

Changes from Sydney's team since last time we played ...

IN - Rampe, Melican, Amartey, Papley, Campbell, McInerney
out - Wicks, Corey Warner, Mills, Ladhams, Francis, Adams

So they're fielding a stronger team on paper this time around. Papley is the one that really jumps off the page straight away as being a big concern that we didn't have to deal with last time.

Jeezus Christ I hope Chux Trucks isn't hobbling around like my Grandad five minutes in.

And a struggling Dixon, sore Butters, and more inconspicuous than usual Evans.

Houston yes. Farrell for Burton or Sinn, eh. I'd prefer Farrell, but if Sinn plays like he did last week or Burton plays like he did against Freo it's no great loss.

I think all six of them are big inclusions. Their defence was very shaky with Francis on Ratugolea and Blakey on Georgiades. Melican and Rampe are huge upgrades. McInerny is also a frustratingly effective opponent, while Campbell’s in great form as a sub. But yes, Papley is the big one.
