If Buckaroo runs well in the CC, surely they run him in the MC? He would have to be a chance despite everyone thinking he wont stay 3200. thoughts?

I am struggling to find anything else in the MC field that I like. Maybe Land Legend

He will be huge unders if that happens, the Cup has turned into a gathering of international stayers and to beat the handicapper a lot of them are unproven to the public eye. The Aussie public will know plenty about Buckaroo and probably latch on.

Huge effort to run aswel as it did

More so being exposed early than being 5 or 6 wide on the bend in a Cup I think but he and Vow and Declare battled on reasonably well considering the complete pace collapse

Yeah I think so. He's got the best form lines coming into it. He doesn't have that turn of foot though like you have mentioned - it almost feels like he would need a run very similar to absurde last year where they get him out in the clear at the 600m and get him going and hope he can sustain that long run as others start to feel the pinch.

I'll be having The Map in my numbers, developed quite a soft spot for her and her run just gone wasn't that bad at all, a nice little tick over run. Her form is as good as anything over the longer distances and obviously is guaranteed a spot.

Yeah and I wouldn't be saying his staying form was as good as anything either. If he showed no improvement from that run I wouldn't still be on him
