I feel like that should get it done unfortunately. He's a good player, but he only just broke into the best 22.What can we get out of them in a trade. Pick 25 doesn't feel like enough
It will probably be 25. But I'm sure we will try for Peatling and 14 for 4.What can we get out of them in a trade. Pick 25 doesn't feel like enough
They won’t give up 4.It will probably be 25. But I'm sure we will try for Peatling and 14 for 4.
Yep but could see us demanding it until the final minutes of the trade deadline and then just accepting 25.They won’t give up 4.
They are notoriously difficult, they will offer 42, threaten to walk him to PSD and make us sweat to get 25 which in real terms will be Pick 30.Yep but could see us demanding it until the final minutes of the trade deadline and then just accepting 25.
On pure points value (assuming we think Peatling is worth around pick 20) this would be an even trade. But there's almost no way it happens. It will probably be 25. But I'm sure we will try for Peatling and 14 for 4.
He really did miss an all time soda didn't heThey are notoriously difficult, they will offer 42, threaten to walk him to PSD and make us sweat to get 25 which in real terms will be Pick 30.
I’m ok with Pick 25 for him, it’s about his value. Wished the f***** could have kicked straight before pissing off.
Yeah absolutely no chance they are giving up pick 4. The only thing I can this is trying to have a crack at their future 1st....but again...unlikelyOn pure points value (assuming we think Peatling is worth around pick 20) this would be an even trade. But there's almost no way it happens.
Unfortunately it's the nature of free agents in this sport (especially when you aren't a victorian team). When a club can get their hands on a player for nothing but cap space of course they'll well overpay. And regarding Peatling, Adelaide is more than likely offering much more than what we'd ever be willing to pay and they know they don't have to fork out any high picks for him eitherRegardless of the driving forces behind each player's departure, the perception of this trade period has been horrendous for the club. It's one thing for homesick interstate players to leave, but when we can't retain NSW boys in their mid 20's then it reflects poorly on the list management and club culture.

I get all that, and I'm pleased the club didn't flinch and make ridiculous offers to mid-tier players like Isaac, Harry and JP. However, it doesn't help the (unfair) image that the club isn't an attractive place to play when we can't even hang on to the local lads.Unfortunately it's the nature of free agents in this sport (especially when you aren't a victorian team). He was offered a lot more money.Feels like the reason is a bit hidden. Said he wants to stay in Sydney, we keeping upping our offer yet still walks. Something feels amiss.
No need to overreact as we still have a strong list with a number of key players 25 and under who are coming into their prime years. We are also heading into a strong draft with some good picks.Goodness me - I've got a bad feeling for the future of this club right now.
Feels like the guts are going to be ripped out every year for the time being, leaving us with an ageing list and forever inexperienced players picked up at the draft because for whatever reason/s, we can't get players who want to be traded here.
I wonder if Brisbane have any interest in Jake now that Daniher has retired? A trade for Neale or one of the Ashcroft brothers seems fair to me.Riccardi is 3rd fiddle tall forward. Doubt that he'll get a game in the firsts unless either Cadman or Hogan are injured.
I think we need help, I am not sure who to ask for help.
They need to force clubs signing free agents to give up something. Or we need to be prepared to trade players after 7 years.
With all due respect, please don't refer to someone overreacting. No need to overreact as we still have a strong list with a number of key players 25 and under who are coming into their prime years. We are also heading into a strong draft with some good picks.
