Plenty left.So a tall next?
That crossed my mind after looking at his highlights. A Cogs replacement.Hannaford will end up a mid.
I reckon we figured one of the Key Forwards would be available at our next pick but not Oliver so we took him as a bolter. Great call honestly (assuming we pick a Key with our next)Harry Oliver probably would have been selected by Richmond before our next. I've been very keen on him, so I'm very happy.
Both selections are very competitive players ... a bit of mongrel in them. Kingers stamping his brand on the selections, I believe.
Who??
Cody Angove
A bolter according to fox footy.Who??
The new cogsA bolter according to fox footy.
Goal-kicking mid. We definitely have a type.
Yeah surprised we didn't take Shanahan and pick this guy at our 30's pickI’m a little surprised with our strategy. When a couple of these guys slid it’s like we just had tunnel vision. The 3rd bloke we could have taken much later. Hannaford is really going to need to improve tank, his 2km was deplorable.
Not taking one of Armstrong, Shanahan or Whitlock’s is surprising. Oliver did make sense for needs and apparently all lads very high character.
Anyway the boys selected are Giants now so we support them.
no one is. Picking him that is.Yeah surprised we didn't take Shanahan
They would have called everyone and we already have an additional future 2nd rounder so if we gave one back it would not have mattered. It’s just tunnel vision.WTF? Did North not call us earlier?
I mean, Swans did something crazier than us with their only pick. At least we picked up two players who were only slight bolters. What’s that line from Draft Day “Every Year Someone Comes Out of This Looking Like a Donkey”
Tonight, it’s us.
